I just fulfilled my legal obligations to The State of Texas at 12:01 am.

congrats!!!

The day hub was released from cdcr's eyeballs, was the best day ever! Even better (for me) than getting out of prison (only to be tossed into a new one as far as parole goes)

The same for me, it wasn't over until I finally got the letter saying I was actually done with federal supervised release/probation. I was reminded that the PO had one year remaining in their window for filing "violations" as long as they claimed that the violation had happened prior to my "end of SR/probation date". Be afraid, be really afraid.

I am starting a job working at the V.A. It is a VRT (Veterans Rehabilitation Training) job but it is a start.

Good luck with your new job! That sounds like a great place to start. Government jobs have really good benefits!
