I really hope I'm putting this in the right place... I swear mods, I really try.. Lol. My first guess was mail, visitation, etc. but considering the point of the post is frugality, I am here.

Anyway, if you're able to buy greeting cards for your LO, the dollar tree (I know I never saw them in California, so maybe the $.99 store??) has some cute ones... I haven't checked Family Dollar, but I know they carry $1 ones. $1 and $.50 sure beats the pants off of the $3, $4, and $5 ones I buy from Target and CVS! There's this cute line of animal ones with one-liners. The one I got had this puppy with human teeth smiling, licking his lips, and surprised eyes and inside it read "Just thinkin' about you....... naked." Lol!

I frequent these places for my cards to my Hunny but lately they dont seem to have any new stock.....besides the holidays....i wish they had a section for us Ladies that have a loved one locked up....that'd be nice

or lately wat ive seen is that the ones that are for "distant love" r so ugly

cant they come up wit cutsie ones that dont have gllitter???!! All the cute ones have glitter i swear!! Not fair

Dollar tree sells them for $.50 and WalMart has $.50 and $1 cards also in California. $.99 Cent only store has them also.

Personally when i go, i get like 5-10 cards that i havent sent yet, then every time i feel like sending one i have them on hand and a variety to choose from.
