Governor's Proposal to reopen Centennial South

I've been an opponent of the re-opening of Centennial South. However, Governor Polis' proposal just might work if his plan is followed through with. The Judiciary Committee would definitely need to monitor.

I hope it is for the reasons he is giving rather than just to increase bed space for an ever growing prison population. You can't keep filling the jar and not emptying it. I mean there needs to be beds for new prisoners but there needs to be more community based sentences quicker parole for those eligible and more rehabilitation and sensible sentencing rather than knee jerk sentencing.
