Question on Inmates/Prison Staff

Just a thought...How often do you think a relationship is established between an inmate with prison staff/correction officer?

How does it and who knows some of those answers? WIll the inmate speak on how often he or she may have the chance to actually have sex with an officer.

It happens frequently with female staff in male institutions, usually for "love". and with male staff in Female institutions, for often times power and control reasons.

The down side is that if sex occurrs the staff member can be charged with Felony Rape. Because the staff exersises so much control over the offender.

Well I worked in a prison for 5 years, and in that five years there were about 25 women staff members (officers / food service workers / counselors) that were fired for getting caught. Now I can't say how often it really happens, because, not everyone is caught, some, such as myself, realize they have fallen in love with an inmate and quit before anyone knows about it. And then there are some who don't get caught and don't quit. So, its tough to say really. I think it must be more prevelent in some states than others because usually the ones that did it, seldom worked there more than 8 or 9 months. Because they come in get caught up and are gone quickly.

What does that mean, Ghoti??? LOL You old bugger! I only knew of 6 happenings of relations in over 6 yrs at 2 facilities combined. Whether there was sex or not I don't know, only that there was a relationship.

Thanks I needed the answer but I wonder why a staff could habe sex in any fashion oral or not with the inmate are they not afraid of getting caught.

A lot of times they feel they wont get caught...and if they get the right type of dude, they wont. We had a warden here that had a relationship for several years with an inmate. A lot just quit before it gets to the point they are going to get in trouble for being compromised. I dont see why someone would want to risk the felony though.
