there are four and eight hours pass , thirty six and seventy-two with the four hours inmates must be at there assigned institution at least 90 days's prior to taking there first pass. inmates may not travel more than thirty miles radius. four and eight passes can be taken on saturdays and sundays or scheduled off days. inmates must successfully complete a minimum of four (four hour passes before they are eligible for an eight hour pass.

They should also take into consideration how far the inmates families are having to travel so they can take their passes. Most are a long way from a 30 mile radius. Mine is going on his 7th year and has never been that close to home! Everything is backwards here and no one wants to change it or even cares to try. I'm sooooo fed up with the whole crap, we are being punished just like our loved ones and it's costing us all a fortune.
I would give anything if the feds would step in and put a stop to this madness...no one else is going to do anything about any of these issues just talk and no action.
