Anyone have family at LCI in Ohio

My friend is on a parole violation at Lorain Correctional. It seems he never gets to make calls. Does anyone know about this process in Ohio? Please help

My fiance has been in Lorain a week and I've managed to talk to him about 5 minutes. He said they are only allowed to use the phone on Saturday and Sunday but today is Saturday and still no call.

lorain phone calls are AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! you will only get like 5 minutes a week

He called Monday, about 5 minutes. Said they told him Saturday and Sunday he can call but still no call. I sent money on jpay for email and set up the phone account but I called Friday and lady said he's still in intake but would be out in few days to reception and will have access to jpay. Ugh!!!!

they get about 5 to 10 minutes on Jpay a week. intake takes a while. and ya the phone conversations are terrible and are interrupted every couple minutes with a recording so make the conversation quick. its MUCH better once they get to their parent institution they will be able to call all the time as long as they have money on their phones and they can jpay way more often! lorain is a horrible experience. visiting is hard too but after the first time much easier.
