I would send another one after he is transferred because there is no guarantee that the counselor will even look in his file for the one you sent while at RG & C. They do not process them there unless its for a parole violation. They will just file it.

My husband just left egeler, and i printed out the application to send but im not sure where to send it to?? im not sure if i send it to him or do i send it directly to the prison?

Send it to the prison where he is at...not RGC, tho. I just sent it with a SASE and put on the outer envelope Visitor Application. Don't send it to your husband...just address it to the prison.

I'm currently on the visiting list for a friend who is in prison and I've visited numerous times but my boyfriend is on his way to prison and I just read that I can not be on both of their visiting lists. How would I go about changing this so that I can be on my boyfriends visitors list?

Call the prison where your friend is located and ask to be removed from their visitor list. You will have to wait until your boyfriend goes through RGC (about 3 wks) and is transferred to a facility before sending in a new application (to that prison) to be on his visitor list. Your boyfriend will also need to put you on his list as an approved visitor - usually done when he goes to RGC. He can only change his list every 6 months so make sure he does this right away.

Once approved for visits, you will be allowed if transferred to another facility.
