Visitation with Children

My kids are considering visiting their father in prison (Parnall)

I understand that they have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Is that true? I am no longer married to their father and am not on his visitor's list. My kids are, however.

Does he have to add me to his visitor list in order for the kids to visit him?
