JOJACKS, I'm full of questions as normal! Do you know anyone that purchased the full $200.00+ package and if so is it worth it(?) I guess there is no discount for the big one(?) In addition to the parole packet, do you think monthly letters to the parole board are a good idea(?) (My thoughts are to keep his name in their memories, if possible). And lastly, what kind of letter do you get from a church? I assume that letter would apply is if the inmate is a member of a church or just a "we're here to help everyone and we will be here for him too" kind of support letter(?) Thanks as always!

No, I on't know anyone who ordered the big packet. Actually, I didn't know they had one, or are you talking about a parole packet? The first time Dustin was up I sent a letter every month for 4 months, plus his parole packet that I did. If he isn't a member of the church, I would get a member from the church write a letter on the church letterhead showing that he does have support from the church, and that you are a member.

Thanks for the info!! In the parole source website they advertise different levels of products, one costing appx. $250.00 and I think that pays for the report AND guidance and advice from them in preparing your parole packet.

Wow this site had a lot of info! One question, though- how current/up to date is the info? The PRD they have for him is what it used to be (Dec 2007) but after his bench warrant/probation revocation in March, it changed to Jan 07 (per the TDC site). But this new site says the PRD is Dec 07. Wondering if the info is just not all caught up, or if it changed back to an earlier date? I hope that makes sense!

He has been in 9 yrs going on 10. The locator shows 6 yrs. The offense that's on there is one that he got when he was in, I believe Robertson Unit back in 10/2000. But he has been locked up since 11/1997.

Did he lose some good time? If you will pm me his info I will go look and see what I can figure out. I also emailed the guy in charge of the locator site and asked him about it.

I just ordered it and didnt know 99% of the questions it asked me (multiple choice questions). Does it make a difference that I had to choose "answer unknown" for most? I ofcourse have all the basic stuff but dont remember alot of what, when and how. Also, He is in Ad Seg and a line class 3 but on August 23rd he will be moved to a line class 2 then if he stays out of trouble is supposed to be moved to a line class 1 around Jan then parole will see him. (from what he has told me) Should I have waited to order the report till after August 23rd? Im not sure what the report determines so thought id ask Thanks!!

No, you didn't need to wait to order the report. Did you understand everything on the report? If no, pm me and I will try to answer any questions.

I know smeone who ordered over three hundred dolars worth of stuff, so I would assume that is the entire packet, that was some time ago as in two or three years. Save your money. It is just two booklets that look to come directly from the TDCJ Sity. I have them and they are not worth the noney.

I got the report back this morning and the age range is incorrect. He is 29 and it says hes 35 to 44 which gave him 1 point. What would he have gotten if they had the range correct or does it matter? I emailed them and asked the same question but nothing back yet. The results were 5 points and at the end it has a check mark in the box that says: Possibly Require Professional Parole Guidance for Next Review Date. They have his next review date for 11-6-08 on this report. On TDC offender search site it just shows the last date which was back in 05 and he was denied. What he has told me is that on August 23rd he is supposed to get his line class 2 b/c he hasnt gotten into any trouble, etc for 6 months. Then in Jan which is another 6 months, he will get his line class 1 then at that point they can review his case (the parole board). Does that sound right to you guys? Im assuming he will have to stay a line class 1 for 6 months before they will review his case. He also said that MAYBE (ofcourse we are praying) they will move him straight to line class 1 instead of 2 this month. He said it has happened to tons of other ppl so hes hoping to be one of them.

On a different note: I am really glad I found this site! You guys have been really helpful. Thanks so much

If you don't get a response from them let me know. The review date should be correct. Being in Seg I seriously doubt he would move up more than one line class.
