Default Sending packages

I want to surprise my man by sending him a package with out telling him. Will he get a notice or how will he know there is a package for him? Also what if he receives 2 packages in the same month?

Hi Shy,

he is only allowed 1 package per quarter and if you are going to send before end of this year, you need to hurry.
He will get called to the yard to pick it up, generally in the afternoon.

Yep, if you want to order for this quarter, you only have about a week. If he's already gotten a package - the 2nd one will be refused and returned to the vendor.

Every prison is different on how they pass out packages, so it just depends on where he is and how that prison does it. Where my hubby is - most often they are brought right to the cells, but sometimes (usually when they are way backed up) they set up tables on the yard and call all the guys out to get their packages.

Hi all,

Great responses so here's one for you. I sent him money and he's ordering one for himself through the system. Does that count or can I send him one from outside too?

He's in the SHU at Pelican Bay so this is really touchy as you all know.

Any info, history, advice or just plain help would be great.

Thanks and hope your holidays have been as happy as possible, safe and healthy.

Tymp

It's one package per quarter, he can't get order one himself and get one from you too. but I don't know about SHU inmates they might only get one a year- you might want to call the prison and check on that
