Unhappy Have to tell fiance the bad news tonight

My fiance was recommended for the Impact program. He kept praying and saying I feel really good I beleive God has forgiven me and answer my prays. I didn't want him to get his hopes up so I emailed the classifaction lady and yesterday and she said he does not meet the criterias. I'm very upset, now his release date is June 12, 2014. Hope there is other things he can do.

Can't the jail administrator or the sheriff make a recommendation? I heard that helps with getting into programs...

I'm so sorry. Tell him to hang in there, and not get discouraged! Don't you, either!

Thank you Spiffy. I talk to him and told him no mattter what I'm here for him and as long as he does right I will always. It sucks because I truly beleive that would have been a good program for him. I feel like if he is gone to have to spend two years in prison for his fourth DWI I would think recovery programs would be best for him so when he is released he will have the tools to stay sober. Throwing him in a cell and not allowing him in programs isn't helping. Just hope he gets the help he needs. They also recommended the Blue Walters program but from my understanding that 6 months before your release date.
