Default Question about one of the laws?!

My fiancé was sentenced in March 2011, would he fall under the article 880 section D act 186?

Would that mean he could get time served for house arrest?

Does anyone know any good lawyers that I could get to write a motion?

C.Cr.P. Art. 880 (D) states precisely to the contrary. See below:

Art. 880. Credit for prior custody; limitations

D. A defendant shall not receive credit for time served under home incarceration.

There is a possible way to get credit for home incarceration but it is fairly rare and has to be done "just right" or DOC can't give the credit. As stated, it is most uncommon to see HI credit correctly given by the trial court.
