Default Do you get the same Federal Probation Officer when you get released from prison?

Hi, is the probation officer that does your pre-sentence report the same probation officer you see after get released?
I hope it isn't since the one I dealt with for the report made me look a monster. I will be living in the same area, so I am wondering if anyone knows about this. Thanks for any info.

The PO you see prior to surrender is a Pretrail Officer.

Keep the Faith

Totally different officers, One is pre-trial and one is an actual PO

Actually, we had contact with both our pre-trial officer who we had from the arraignment and a probation officer who wrote the PSI. In theory, the PSI writer could also be his supervised release officer when he comes home, although it will more likely be someone else from the same office.

Our county only has one officer that handles all electronic monitoring cases. My husband was on electronic monitoring before sentencing and probably will be if he's released from the 1/2-way house early. He's a total jerk too! Not looking forward to dealing with him again, especially since he violated me last year!

My pre-trial PO didnt do my PSI, but the one that did turned out to be my PO for supervised release. Depends on the number of POs in the area and if they are still there when you get released.
