.
I notice the reporter who wrote the story about Enslen (the second one) didn't have either the nerve or the courtesy to have his by-line put on it. Judges are judges for a reason - to stop people from breaking the law - even our loved ones. Now it is time to stop the MDOC.

I noticed how they brought back up reducing the prison population! They need to parole some of the guys that are past their ERD and have their recommendations completed.

Well, for one thing I want them to close the prison, the less prisons the better. But I'm with Judge Enslen that they need a plan of what they are going to do with these mentally ill and frail inmates that need special care. Lastly do I feel sorry for the people who have to move for a job that they shouldn't have had to begin with because if the DOC had any brains they wouldn't have had a job to begin with because we never needed this many prisons if they would change their sentencing guidelines, follow the ERD's and get these people the help that they need so they won't re-offend and get them out of there! It is SO simple but it is taking a major budget deficit and another death for them to do anything about it and then they still can't just do what they are supposed to do and be done with it. Why? Because, WE ARE THE DOC!!!

I think fighting with Enslen makes them look like crap. Why is it so hard for MDOC to give an plan of how these guys are going to be cared for if they are so insistent that they will be cared for? We all know the answer to that one don't we. THEY WON"T BE CARED FOR!! Rock on Enslen!! Mke MDOC do what it should have been doing all along, be accountable!!!

it seems to me that getting guys OUT of prison and back into society as law abiding tax payers ought to be the goal in the first place.

prisons ought to be rehabilitative facilities, not warehouses.

i guess the general public doesn't think past the first phase. they just want to get the "criminals" locked up, and forget about them.
