According to the article there are criteria to be met, such as :

Quote:
...The Temporary Program to Reprieve Sentences of Incarceration Program only applies to state prison inmates who have been identified as being non-violent and who otherwise would be eligible for release within the next 9 months or who are considered at high risk for complications of coronavirus and are within 12 months of their release...

... 1,500 to 1,800 inmates would be eligible...

...The releases could begin as early as Tuesday, April 14....

...A copy of the governor's order can be found as a PDF here or on Scribd.

TPVs will likely need the approval of the Parole Board, but I think they would be near the top of the list for consideration.

patchouli, I was aware of the list, but it still didn't really answer my question on TPV's. Most don't even do 9 months.

I did contact parole and they said they had no say in the matter.

Mine has 55 days left... he's automatic paroled that day unless he ends up in trouble/hole. I'm not concerned either way considering he only has 55 days left. It's not much time. I just don't wanna be notified last minute to pick him up since I'm a bit of a distance from where he is. I know I'm likely to have time to pick him up but if he knows he's allowed out on say a wed. he doesn't wanna wait until thurs. lol

I was told by the DOC that TPV's aren't included in those being released through the Gov. reprieve.
