Question Son reporting to prison soon, worried about A&O

Hello,
my son will be reporting to Jameson in a few days, and he is concerned about A&O, mainly how to "not go crazy" as he puts it.
He has several friends who went through it, as he spent over half a year in minnehaha county and stayed in contact with some.

From what I hear, it's almost like "AD-Seg" or the hole, 23 hours a day in your cell. Is there any way he can get books, even a Bible, to help the time not be as rough until he gets transferred (most likely to Springfield).

A background - He got "catfished" by a girl he met on an adult dating site, said she was a sophomore at a college in a different state, but things they did online, including pictures and videos, got him charged with possession of child porn and solicitation of a minor. The fact that she lied about her age didn't matter. The judge wasn't happy with the fact that he was already on paper for something else, so he got 19 years, and will have to serve 6.67 of them. He says he's not worried about being assaulted for being a "child molester" though I thought that would be the worst thing for him. He says like a third of the people there are for sex crimes, many way 'worse' than his, but he is awful worried about two to three weeks in A O. Any suggestions I can pass on to him?

Thank you for your time in reading this.
Prayers to all your loved ones still incarcerated, and your families.

So now it's months later. How was the fish tank for him. It's a boring place with lots of western books to read
