Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

I am in the far north, north of Fort Wayne. Anyone have loved ones in Westville? Awful prison in far north west Indiana. Let me know if you have a get together. I am very much alone in this journey. Son has been in jail over a year but is just in prison three months ago of a 12 year sentence. I pray this is reduced. I will check back here.

Well, I'm way up north of Fort Wayne so I imagine a get together would be south of here because most of you are near Indianapolis? Maybe?

How about this? We meet in Lafayette? Nice park there. Everyone from northeast can meet here the night before and stay at my home, so it is not a long drive. Any bidders?

Layfayette and Indy are about 3 hours from me so I will need to think about that one. I think I need to get with some women I can relate to on this. I have lots of friends and a great family but.....(don't whine Xanthra) this board, you women 'get it'. about our beloved inmates. sigh

I am around two hours each way from those two places also. It looks like we are scattered all over the place, northeast, northwest, north, central. Just curious how far people are from the Kokomo area and surrounding like Wabash, Marion, Peru? If I am way off with my geography, I apologize. I was looking at a map for a place as central as possible and trying to guess lol

lafayette is about 3 hours or so from me as well..

and kokomo is probably a couple of hours away.

i drive 2 hours to go and see my man at New Castle Correctional just for a 2 hour visit and then drive 2 hours back.

maybe we could have whoever is around the different areas meet in those areas..for example, those who live in the northwest find a meeting place there, those in the northeast find a meeting place there..and so on..just a suggestion

i just can't afford to drive for 3 hours for a get together..

Unfortunatly I think I think Jen is right. I will "host" for those north of Indianapolis. If you are interested PM me with your name and location and I will try to accomodate everyone. Anyone interested in Indianapolis south? Let me know so we can meet before the weather gets too bad.

Do we have an idea how many are interested? Distance isn't a huge deal for me, just need to know when to get the extra gas money together. I drive 3 hours each way to see my bf in Pendleton and usually stay in the Indianapolis area when I am down that way. No one has mentioned being from my area, so I would have to join up with another area!
