Evening all!!!!
I am posting this for my hubby's mate Andy.
Andy is currently at Fulham CC in Victoria.
Andy is 45 about 5'10, very fit, slim/muscular build. He is up for parole this December. He has worked in construction (qualified tiler) all of his life and will return to the industry when he gets out. He is as blue collar as they come ......with a wicked sense of humour to go with it.
Andy is smart, can definitely hold a conversation and says that prison has softened him a bit. He has become a writer, since inside and has had a book ( prison poetry) published. He works peer support at Fulham now.
He is in for intentionally causing bodily harm. He is straight up about it, no smoke and mirrors or BS stories and will be honest and forthcoming if asked about it. ( lol sounds like I am writing to the APB)
He doesn't get any mail (apart from his aging mum), which to those of you who watch the mail box the way I do, can imagine it would be pretty horrible.
He showed my hubby around the first time he was in and did the same when hubby went back in, whilst my husband is a twit for becoming a returnee I am grateful to Andy and I owe him one or twelve .
He's not chasing a relationship or anything ( mind you, I am sure he'd be happy to go down that road), just a letter ,a postcard, a joke, anything that isn't prison.
I know most of you will understand what I mean.
