Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Hi there,

can I send books to my pen pal via Barnes & Noble, or only via amazon?

Both. And many more. As long as it is from a real bookstore, either online or brick and mortar that is willing to send it by mail it is fine.

make sure you know the DOC regulations - some will not allow hard covered books. They also have a banned books list, so tread carefully
