Default Visitation and Vending Machines at Camp Hill?

I'm planning on visiting my son at Camp Hill in Pennsylvania. I heard from him there are vending machines in the visiting room where families can buy sandwiches and snacks to eat together while visiting. a card needs to be purchased before entering and money deposited. My question: Does anyone know how much money would we need for 4 people? Where can I find the price of items? I could not find any info on the prisons website. Thanks so much.

Here's the PA site visiting rules for families including the vending cards for the machines.
https://www.cor.pa.gov/family-and-fr...ing-Rules.aspx

There is a comment that the initial vending machine card costs $2.00, but it can be reloaded with additional money. If Camp Hill uses the debit cards, all money deposited to the cards will be available until it is spent, so unused funds, (which may require a $20.00 bill the first time), will remain until used at another visit. I do find their visiting instructions to be confusing.

Unspent funds will remain on the card for as many visits as that takes. If Camp Hill utilizes vending cards (no money is allowed in those visiting rooms) Jpay may be involved, so I hope you receive answers from folks who have visited there.

"For prisons that allow money in visiting rooms, nothing larger than coins, $1 bills and $5 bills are permitted, with a total limit of $50. All cash must be contained in a clear plastic bag or small clear change purse. Staff will not make change".

I only know about visits to federal prisons, but $20.00 per person is their stated limit, which was plenty,

Please note: Many facilities do not allow money in the visiting rooms but instead use vending machine cards. These can require a $20 bill upon first use. Please look up your facility's Visiting Days and Times to get details on what your facility's policy on money in the visiting room is".

If it's anything like Mule Creek, from what I've read, the cards can be purchased in the visiting center and funds put on it there. Any funds not used during that visit will remain on the cars for future visits.

Mule Creek here in California allows $5, $10, $20 to be deposited onto the card.

In the front visiting lobby, you will see two types of machine. One is where you obtain the vending card for $2 or $3. I think you must have the exact amount for this one, so use ones. The second machine is where you load the card, and you can put as much as you want on it. Unused money remains on the card for future visits, but the cards don't "transfer" to other prisons yet. If he's in classification, he'll be leaving Camp Hill in a few months. you don't want to go through the refund process, so don't overload the card unless you're sure you'll visit him there again.

As for costs ... compare them to your local convenience store for fast food. A 20 oz bottle of soda is probably $1.50, a bag of chips might be $1.25, a hot sandwich might be $3 or $4.

I put $17 on the card and one 5 hour visit it was gone. The prices are higher than usual. Pictures cost $3 per picture too.
