It's nice to see the right people in the hot seat for once. Hopefully , more conversation can be had like this. If only the DEA didn't get so dang rigid about what they can and can't say. If they would stop protecting whatever powers that be that continue to fight the legalization of marijuana, and don't tell me it's because of the immanent danger to society that people who use marijuana recreationally pose. What about alcohol? We have assumed people will use that responsibly, even in the face of I-don't-know-how-many adds that show alcohol consumption as an acceptable and highly embraced activity in this country. They can't have their cake and eat it too, look what happened with prohibition. The backlash of trying to abolish this drug led the government to rethink how they went about regulating other drugs. Now, they just invent something to be afraid of and spin it til the public finally starts to believe it - suddenly you have the backing of the public and anyone who didn't believe the hype must be crazy or a criminal. All the while forcing people who want to sit down and have a useful conversation about the right way to go about something to use the same disrespectful tactics just to be heard.

Thanks for sharing this!
