My ex-husband is currently in prison here in Washington state but is being extradited to Nevada DOC soon for some felonies he caught the last time he was out. The only tme he has ever done in Nevada was at Clark County Detention Center so he has some questions about the prisons.
Can inmates in the prisons smoke, or even chew tobacco?
What are the requirements for going to a camp? Certain amount of time left on sentence? Certain crimes?
Can't be much of a help to you but I do know that Ely does not allow smoking. I am not sure if this is just Ely or in all NDOC facilities. I am sure someone else can explain more.

they banned all smoking in nv prisons and jails,camp wise when he sees his caseworker when he gets transferred out here in nv he can ask then and they decide depending on his charges if he is eligible for camp
