Smile Your Worst Date Ever

I always like to hear about people's "disaster" dates, I thought I would make a thread where we could talk about ours. I will start with mine.

This was a few years ago, I had a blind date, that my best friend had set me up with, we were to meet at Don Pablo's for dinner. Well he ended up being 30 minutes late, I was about to leave, well we get inside the resturaunt we sit down, and he is not saying much, Im making all the conversation, then he laughs out of no where, when nothing was even said , people were looking over (Im thinking this guy is on crack) all through dinner he said nothing, it was so uncomfortable, then we get ready to leave, she hands the bill, he gives her his credit card, it would not go through, he tells her try again, still nothing. Then he hands her another one this one did not go through either, he says he has no cash, so i ended up paying for dinner. We get outside, he asks me If I want to come over his house, I must of looked at him like he was crazy, because he started laughing again. Then he stood against my car, so i couldnt get in and just started talking about nothing, it was raining. I could not wait to leave!!!!! finally I told him I had to get going. That was the worse date i had.

Mine was a guy I met for lunch halfway between our homes, so it was about a 2 hour drive for both of us. Got there and went for lunch, which seemed fine at first, but quickly got worse. He started to talk about his estranged wife, and how evil she was and how she was from Poland and he was going to work to get her deported back there because she was cheating on him, etc. I don't mind listening to sob stories, but he was very loud and actually USING THE VOICES of the people he was talking about. So, when he was saying something his wife supposedly said, he would do it in a high pitched voice with a Polish accent. I was trapped in that booth with him for over two hours! I finally got away to use the restroom and the manager followed me to see if everything was ok. I sat back down and told him I had to leave, so of course then he tries to get charming and get me to either follow him home or tell him my address so he could follow me. I flat out told him no, and why. He didn't get it.

Hrm. Worst date ever, eh? That's a tough one. I drank a lot when I was dating, so things were never quite as bad as they would have been if I'd been sober!

Okay, my story is a bit different. I was seeing a guy (who I will call John) who I was keeping around for *entertainment* only and he was getting too involved, so we went out and I thought that maybe I could run him off. (I'm a dork!) So we went to a restaurant where I knew a bunch of the guys who were servers and they knew I was looking to get rid of this guy. Well, we went in, got seated and one of the guys came and took our drink orders. Another guy brings out the drinks and brought two for me and says he bought me the second one and kissed me. They kept screwing up his orders and bringing me extra and giving me tons of attention. One of the guys even obviously licked my neck. It was so hard not to giggle, but I managed. At the end, I could see John was upset, so I started defending my *friends* and telling him if he didn't like it, he could leave. He said fine and accepted it. It came time for the bill and he wanted to go dutch. Fine by me, I say. The server comes out and takes his money for his bill and doesn't take any payment from me. He comes back and John asks him why I didn't have to pay. Server laughed and said "She's Jenn!" and I grabbed his butt and he said, "I should be over around 1am. Is he gonna be gone by then?" I told him "I think so, but since you've already met, you don't have to call first this time."

John didn't get the hint that night or for several after. That night, he even insisted on leaving around 12:30am so that he would be gone when my server-friend showed up. ANd before he left, he had to tell me that he loved me. AH! That was a BAD date. Just in a different sense than you meant. But it's about as close as I can get.

Sorry for the long ramble!
Jenn

Oh boy I have two good ones! Both way back in my younger days

This guy I saw out at clubs a lot but wasn't really attracted to asked me out and he seemed really nice so I agreed. He showed up at my house in an old beat up Celica with NO side or back windows only a front one LMFAO! I still went, now I would of been like "Lets take my car" LOL anyways he proceeds to tell me how he bought it for $40.Get in it smells like cat pee LOL Go to dinner then to his house to watch a movie and the house smells like cat pee!! I ask if he has a cta? No he doesn't! LMAO OK!

Next up this other guy I had seen out at the clubs asks me out again not attractive but nice.He tells me the day of the date that his car broke down so I agree to pick him up.We go to grab something to eat at some fast food place and then are going to go to this festival type thing at the river. When it comes time to pay oops he forgot his money so I end up paying for the whole thing! Now I don't mind spliiting it or paying for you if I suggest the date but come on now not the whole thing on our first date......First and last date it was lol

Thumbs down This one is easy for me

This man asks me out and then proceeds to try and sell me his "car detailing" business package on the date. Ok this is like 12 years ago and I was young. I go back to his house for a drink (why i dunno) and he has a video camera on a tripod pointing at his bed (i see this b/c he was rich and had an awesome house and gave me a tour). I LEFT FAST!
=============
If a man every "forgot his money" on my date I would say "guess you will be washing dishes" and walk out and drive away.

You guys are cracking me up. This was a really long time ago. My dad made me go out with a boy because he wanted to "get close to his mom" I was 18 and this kid was 19 I think. What a bozo. McDonalds drive in. A barker to look at I am sure he chased cars in his spare time. I was bored out of my mind and after the Mcdonalds I honestly could not get my mind to focus on anything other than ending the date. I was a bad wild girl and was used to dating older guys who took me on real dates to real places with my phony ID. Anyway I told my dad no more mercy dates to try and help his love life. Oh and I actually had to duck and run to escape the goodnight kiss. But to be fair looking back he was just a kid with probably no experience which was why his mom was fixing him up at 19. Ya think?

I hate bad date...all of yours sound awful...

I went on a blind date a couple of weeks ago, it was horrible, first of all let me start by saying he told me he was 5'7" and 265...I thought ok, well I have a friend about that size and I've always liked big men, I got there he was like 5'5" and 365...it was awful, he is a third shift worker and didn't shower from the night before, I smelled something and know it wasn't me...I got there and he wasn't even dressed and ready to go, during lunch he belched the whole time, rambles on how attractive I am and how he would like to see me again...went back to his house and since I am also a third shift worker I needed some sleep and blah blah blah the date lasted under 2 hours...It was just awful...I have swore off dating for a while, would rather be happy and single then depressed and dating! The funniest thing he told me he was on a diet, yet my feet were surround by Mcdonalds and Wendy's bags in his car!!

I had my worst date ever back in April. One of my former coworkers asked me out. We went to a country western bar and dance hall then we went to a restraurant that was open late for dinner. The night was going pretty well and I was really into him until dinner. The guy had the WORST table manners I have ever seen. Elbows on the table, couldn't keep his mouth closed, talking with food in his mouth. He opened the door for me once in the whole night. He was stunned when I turned down his offer for a 2nd date and I refused the goodnight kiss. You would think a guy that is 24 would have better manners.

LOL these stories are too funny! well i had a horror date a couple years ago. i met this guy on the internet. we talked back and fourth and then we exchanged numbers. everything was good so he asked if i wanted to meet him i said ok. we met at wendy's in the city i was living in at the time. he was there first, i went in spotted him out(he told me what he was wearing) and i went over to the table. he looked like he had just rolled out of bed, and he was not attractive what so ever! he also brought his two daughters along with him (single father) he spent most of the time yelling at them in the restauraunt. he was so boring, i wanted to drive my straw through my eye lol. i had my cell phone with me, so i dialed my sister's number on speed dial, then hung up. just so she could call me back. she did, so i talked to her for a minute then i hung up. i told him something came up and i had to go. he never heard from me since! LOL
