Hi Ladies, thought it may be a nice idea if we all check-in whenever we can and jus generally chat about what has been going on in our lives, get to know each other seeing as we are all in the same boat for the next 4 yrs

let me know if you think its a good idea

I think its a great idea. I'm always around pto in some form, whether it be in the chatroom or in the forums! Ya'll are stuck with me!

I got 4 yrs and 5 months til the halfway house... even if he doesnt get in it i'll be in the 2009 club.. at least I hope so! I might have to switch clubs

hi Kaytee thanks for checking in yea you gonna be stuck with me too, im always on here too but it will prob be not always the same time as you as im in great britain , and if you do have to switch clubs we can still all keep in touch

I just got a phone call from Jeremy. Its his birthday on the 29th. I asked him how much he wanted me to send. Hes like .. baby dont ask me that question, send what you can, IF u can afford it..
you know i dont ask for money. .. <-- hes tryin to act cute lol he knows if he didnt get extra this month he would pout. LOL
No I didnt get to visit this weekend, hopefully next though. YAY
Glad u got to dales. How was it.

Suzee, I just noticed what Kaytee said--that your new siggy isn't sparkling! That's weird, I'll make you another one. You don't think your guy will call tomorrow?
Kaytee, I noticed you are in different states, is it a far drive for you? Do you get to visit often? What you said about your guy and extra b-day money was funny.

My husband would pout too--he's used to being spoiled on his birthday.

Hope Jeremy has a good birthday and that you get to visit him soon!

Well, i had moved an hour away, but hes getting transfered soon so I am back home, roughly 5 hrs away. I saw him 3 weeks ago yesterday.. so im going thru withdrawls. I got used to seeing him 2wice a week.

But its okay, im moving where he gets transfered! I'll make it til then.

Awww Lisa your an angel for the siggys , he usually calls on the weekend but you never know its a month since i spoke to him last the calls from there to here are sooo expensive like $70 for 15 mins

but to hear his voice its worth it lol

Kaytee, my husband is spoiled too-even though he doesn't want to admit it, he knows he is though.

That's good that you will be moving where he gets transferred so you'll be able to go every weekend again. When you're used to going alot and all of a sudden can't, it's tough! I'm lucky that I get to go every weekend, but the few times I've had to miss, I miss him sooo much!

Suzee, I made you a new siggy-hope this one sparkles.

I can't believe your phone calls were $70-that's insane!! How long does the mail take for you guys?

im still not sparkling lol but it still looks cool

the letters take about 7 days or so to get here i was spoilt week b4 last i had 2 on the same day lol..
Kaytee dont forget to let us know when your moving so we can keep you updated on anything you may miss

Hey guys, just checkin' in with my fellow 2009ers to see how everyone was doing. I went for a visit today... 3 hours to get there, for a 2 hour visit... the heat was wicked in the visiting room, but apparently my fiance is roasting in a 95 degree cell without being able to open a window and no fan, so I'll be ordering him a fan tomorrow. Visit went ok, it's depressing for both of us, because right about now, we'd be fishing with our kids, or going for a ride in the country. We always did a lot together, and it's tough on both of us being far apart, but I'm sure everyone here can sympathize with that. I hope everyone had a great weekend, here comes Monday

thanks for checkin in glad to hear you had a good visit, its hard when families are apart but hang on in there.... its a long drive my parents live a 2hr drive away from me and i find that a hard drive

Suzee, is that the new one I just sent you that's still not glittery? Your #5 glittered, didn't it? I can't figure it out! Do you want me to try another color? I don't have any kids, just my 2 doggies Leno and Spuds, who are my kids for now.

IluvTJW, glad to hear you got to visit today! It's only 3 hrs. from MN to Wisconsin? I guess I thought it was further, but glad that's it's not so you can drive! I know how you feel with the drive being longer than the visit. My husband was at a unit where it was like that for me awhile back. They need to kick the AC on at that prison! Your poor guy is probably dying and you'd think they'd at least kick the AC on for visitors! Doesn't surprise me though.

Actually it is longer than 3 hours, it's about 5+ hours from Minnesota to where he is. I come to his mom's house in Wisconsin first, and then we go see him together with the kids.

You're right, they really do need to kick up the AC in those places. Then again, if they forked out the money for that, then they wouldn't have the money for their wonderful rehabilitation programs... oh wait, they don't have money for those either

That's nice that you have somewhere to stay a little closer for you so you don't have to do the whole drive in 1 day.

My dogs are Lhasa Apso's. And very spoiled Lhasa's.

we got there in the end lol, awww i luv dogs ours passed away last august we had him 15 yrs

and at the mo i dont want another 1 it was too sad for all of us . well girls im gonna call it a night now and get some sleep its 12.30 am lol so good night and speak to you all soon
