My thoughts and prayers will anyone still in the New Orleans area! It's gonna be an ugly one! I live in East Central Mississippi (about 3-4 hours from the coast) and they are predicting Katrina to still be a Cat 3 hurricane this far inland! When Ivan hit us last September it was a Cat 1 and it scared the mess out of me! I just can't imagine a Cat 3, much less a Cat 5 further south!!

Default WLOX ABC 13 - Steaming live news

Looks like WLOX (ABC 13) covering Biloxi,Gulfport & Pascagoula is steaming live news (not recorded) of Hurricane Katrina.

If you are someplace outside of their "viewing" area and want to get reports right from the source, check out this link and then click on the "Click here for Live Coverage" near the top center area.
Link:
http://www.wlox.com/

I'm tired of the rewound footage most of the major networks are playing between the live feeds.

After experiencing Katrina as a Category One storm in Miami and scared ****less and still waiting for electricity, my prayers go out to the people in the path of this monster storm. I hope the loss of life is not catastrophic.

Obviously, this hurricane was as bad as it appeared to be when they were warning everyone to get out.

I am going to close this thread and direct everyone to the new sub-forum for further discussions on Hurricane Katrina's devastation.
