Hey All..............Ive been MIA for a while just sitting back reading everyones posts but not saying too much. I'm with Steph this week. Im in a serious funk. My guy went before the furlough board and we were all excited thinking he would get it, because we thought the judge had already approved it. Well, the board couldnt find that info, had my guy waiting for 4hrs just to tell him they have to resubmit it to the judge and he will be rescheduled for another hearing in March. We were hoping he would be heading to a halfway house in Mar. But oh well, I should have not let myself get all excited in the first place. And now school has started back so my vacation is officially over and my 13yr old wants to start talking on the phone to boys . I am mentally...........an wreck right about now. I guess I will go fix myself a cocktail to fast forward my mind to Sept 2006!

Hey ladies!!! I promise I haven't left y'all again...or forgot about y'all (not possible). I've been runnin' around like a chicken with my head cut off...tryna get everything ready! I have his stuff in the dryer right now (some of it anyway)...and some of my stuff also (things I'll need Sat, Sun, & Monday). I'll be leaving here around 11am (a lil later probably) on Saturday heading down to Montgomery (will take me around 4 1/2 hours or so)...my girl, Jamie (i love donovan) is getting a room for me & her in Montgomery..and we will get up Sunday morning...she is gonna go with me to pick him up (about 10 minutes from the room). He'll be released around 6am (since it's a visiting day). We'll go back to the room...let him take a REAL shower & change clothes & all that normal stuff...then just lay around, chill, get some breakfast...leave at check-out time (11am) and head back up this way!! It's gonna feel so good for him to be a FREE MAN y'all...I think the nervousness is going away now...now, I'm just anxious...and ready for it to be over, said, & done!!!

Me & him will get online sometime Monday...and I'll post a mini-update for y'all...with the big one coming later on. He wants to go fill out some job applications early Monday morning...and I'm so proud of him for that. There are a couple places here that "thrive" on hiring ex-felons...for the tax cut they get for it (how nice of them )

Well, I love y'all...I gotta go in here & dry my hair (I dyed it today... )...get his clothes outta the dryer & iron everything...get everything ready to pack tomorrow. I'll be here again tomorrow...and TRY to catch up with y'all talkative ladies.

Hey ladies...looks like I got some catchin' up to do I hope you are all having a good night! I think that reality started to hit me a little bit last night...and I did NOT like it:shake: I'm not ready to be THAT nervous yet!! Not about him coming home...that part doesn't scare me one bit, I'm READY for that BUT, the fact that I'm moving and all...yea, that gets me!!! I'm not scared...but I feel bad about leaving my family I ended up BAWLIN' my eyes out last night at like 2:30 am thinking about that ish NOT fun!!!! You know it is funny, today is Friday the 13th and it is usually the day that everything goes wrong, when in fact it has been a great day. Yes Herb is closer to coming home, he is fixing to get transfered AGAIN. HE is at the WALLS temporially, but it is all good....

Hey girls!! Just stoppin in here real quick before I hit the bed because I'm exhausted! Things are looking up around here though. We had a perfect visit tonight. We talked about things that were bothering me and got that ish outta the way real quick. Then we couldn't stop talking about the homecoming. 10 MORE VISITS and he's home! Now that I know everything he needs, I guess I have some serious shopping to do! It'll be exciting though...I hope. I love spending money so I don't think it will be a problem anyway lol!

Steph, girl I am so happy for you. I completely relate to the talking about coming home things that is talked about.

Girls, I am completely lost. Herb is in Huntsville like I told you about and I got a letter from him yesterday dated Tuesday, and he said that they are releasing him early to Florida. WTF....I am not sure of this. Review and Release says no he won't be released until 3/4....I can't get any straight answers. OMG...............what if he is right.....He said he got his layin slip that said "transit BW" which would be transit Bench Warrant to Florida. I am so like freaking out. I want to be excited but yet I have SSSSSSSSSOOoooooo many questions.......okay off to write him a letter that I don't even know if he will get ....

I had a great visit with my son yesterday. Curious824... My son comes home May 22 too. How about that? He is having me completely redo his room. I already gave his bed away . (He wants a bigger one) Now he wants me to get rid of his chest of drawers too. I am really going to be having a time putting a room together. I wish all I had to worry about was getting him new clothes. But I keep telling him. I will do what I can. If I cant get it all done. Oh well. My baby is coming home and I got to take tap dancing lessons and singing lessons. HEHHEHE (anyone want a pic of it?)

I cleaned, shopped, cooked and am now off to shower and stuff I saw Vanilla Sky last night till 1 am, 3 hour movie on I think Bravo...anyone saw this? So sad and werid, non?

got a letter from the man, and should be going up to see him this Saturday...
it has been 76 days without his face or his voice...YIKES!!!

it has been bitterly cold and windy and snowy...unlike a few days ago when it was 60*

Hey girls! Good God I was lost this weekend without PTO LOL! I got some stuff done though so that's a good thing. I hope you've all had a great weekend. I cleaned and organized our bedroom (getting ready), cooked, spent time with the kiddo's, all that fun stuff. I've been watching the Wife Swap marathon allllll day on the We channel. Now dinner's in the oven and I just have my boys here with me so it's a pretty quiet night.

Jeanne - Thanks sweetie! I'm glad things are better now too and that we're making homecoming plans. I hope Herb gets your letter and try not to stress TOO much! Keep on em til you get your answers girl, and I hope he does get to come home to you even sooner. Love ya!

Hey ladies!!! No pto yesterday. What wuz up wit that? I ended up going out drinking with a friend. I woke up yesterday morning...............it was snowing really bad with high winds, it knocked out my electricity. So with no kids, no heat, no internet, no lights..........I paid my man a surprise visit. Man did we have fun! He was soo happy to see me. I told him I only came to suck the drc's heat. This was our first visit since Nov without the kids. We got caught up on alot stuff. Reminded me how much I love him.

Just stopped in to say a quick hello.

Hey Jackie, good to see you too had a good visit. It's ok to let out cry or two, we are all emotional wrecks..........so go ahead cry cry cry. Soon they will be tears of joy!!
