Hey ladies...how are you all doing??? Well...it's been real quiet in here lately...and I miss my girls

I hope everyone is doing GREAT!!!! Tomorrow is FRIDAY...WOO-HOO

Today I had off...didn't really do too much...vacuumed out my car, did laundry, and went to WalMart for some crap I needed. Besides that...I just have been relaxing. I also stopped and seen Dave's Mom today...it was nice. It just frustrates me that she doesn't even know where her own SON is being released! But the good thing is she is happy for him and us...so I guess that's all that matters

I am waiting for my Dork to call me today

Hey girls! I'm just stopping in for a sec because dinner's almost done and I have some hungry kids here! I got a call from the man a lil bit ago and he said they DIDN'T change the date after all, and he DOES go before the board tomorrow morning!

I have a visit with him tomorrow afternoon/evening so if he doesn't call me while I'm at work, I guess I'll find out how it went when I get there. I am NOT holding my breath for this because we've been thru it before, but we shall see what happens!

Other than that, things are GOOD around here! I'm just doing little things everyday to get ready for the big day, and trying to stay busy so I won't think about it TOO much. I hope you've all had a great week! Catch up again later or tomorrow when I have some more news. ((((Hugs))))

Hey there ladies! Today was an interesting day for me. First I'm waiting to pick my daughter up from school and an ambulance and fire truck pull in with the sirens and lights. A teacher was having breathing problems and fainted. Crazy! Then I get a letter from James and he's really sick. He was coughing up blood and he went to the doctor there and they said he has a severe case of the flu. I hate that I can't help him. It's so hard being the fact that when he would get sick before I was the one who took care of him. I hope he gets better soon. Prison is a disgusting place anyway. There's no telling what's in that place.

I Have A Question And Need An Answer And Hope Someone Can Help Me.
My Father Is In The Devens Federal Medical Center In Mass. He Called Me And Told Me He Was Thrown Into The Hole Because He Could Not Urinate At The Time They Wanted Him To. He Is On Dialysis Three Times A Week And He Dont Urinate As Often As We Would. Do I Need To Get A Note From His Doctor Before He Went In And Fax It To Them? Is This Normal To Do This To Dialysis Patients. Any Suggestions Would Be Appreciated!
Also Any Others Out There With Their Love Ones In Fmc Devens I Would Love To Talk To You. I Am 1900 Miles Away From My Father Which Is 19 Hours Away. Our Family Cant Afford To Go Visit Him. It Is A Sad Situation. We Are From South Carolina. The Judge That Sentence My Father Told My Father And The Family That This Was The Only Federal Medical Center That Could Housed My Father In His Condition. Can I Claim A Hardship Transfer? How To You Go About Doing This? I Am Willing To Try Anything. My Father Is 73 Years Old In Bad Health And I Am Scared He Will Die Before We Get To See Him. He Has 60 Months And Has Only Served 7 So Far.

Jackie- thanks love, so everything with you is okay , huh? Yeah, and i know it is crazy when you think your man's people should know more than what they do about his case and everything revolving around it up until the release, but seriously, I think it be the wives and girlfriends, that actually hold the fort down and know absolutely EVERYTHING, and then the family acts as if they really did something while he was away, you feel me. I know alot of people who go through that type of stuff. And although Woody's parents are in totally different states, I do keep them up to date on everything, I don't skip a beat, cause they are good to me....
Sue- thanks also... and yeah, when your child is down, you are down, (literally) and don't even get me started on the first days of classes, UGH>
Jen- what's up? PMS, isn't that the worst? Well, no, in my case the whole bleeding for 10 days is... I probably would love to PMS for a few days over that... BUT, when I was normal, yeah, PMS was the worst...
Steph- (((((hugs)))) and I'm praying for you... Good luck on him going before the board. And luckily the date didn't change... I'm still waiting on a damn date....
To all my other ladies... It is 20 days into January, we asked for it, we got it. The days are flying by... It seems like just last week that we were saying Happy New Years, let us keep praying and receiving the speedy days....

HI Everyone, well I am finally back, I have taken some time away....Tried to catch up, but there was way to much to read. I normally would keep up with my email notifications, but havent been getting them this week. Hmmm.
Well my visit went great. I was hoping to go see him again today, but plans fell through, so for sure the end of February. I car pool with a friend I met from PTO, she's real nice. But I am thinking if I get my taxes done, I might rent a car and go up on a Friday before then, thats to long to wait, but we will have to see how that goes.
I have been in such a funk lately, dont know why really, things are going pretty good.
I have 3 more weeks in the air cast, but I can start taking it off for extended periods of time while at home to start getting strengthing my leg. I have started some therapy here at home (soaking it in hot water and moving it around, dr recommended) She said if that doesnt work, when I come back in 3 weeks, she will send me to physical therapy.
The best part is I dont have to sleep with the cast on anymore.

Very annoying, kind of like going to sleep with a winter boot on....lol lol
I got my phone call from my sweetie last night, I dont like the every 2 week call, but not much choice financially. I should just be thankful I can get them at all.
Well I seen a few new names since I have been here last, so WELCOME to all our new members.
CONGRATS to Kimmy for Merv being home and for Sel who's time is coming. I am so happy for all of you.
Brian got his PER done last week, and he said everything looks ok, aside from a charge he had when he was a juvenille, for a breaking and entering. That wasnt on his PER the last time he paroled, and he was told, that if he did his probation it wouldnt be on his record, so wonder where that came from, he told the guy about the probation thing, and that was never on there before, and the guy just said well its on there now. So hopefully that doesnt make for problems.
My son turns 19 today, WOW it doesnt even seem possible it was that long ago. How time does fly!!! He's still my baby though, always will be.

Well going to go and eat some lunch.

AAHHH!!! I'm screaming too because I MISSED HIS PHONE CALL!!

I wasn't really expecting to hear from him before noon, if at all since we have a visit later today, so I ran around with my Dad this morning. Dad's opening a new business that I'm going to be doing a lot of work for as well, and we went over there so he could show me around and I left my cell phone in the car for 30 minutes. I got back in the car and saw that I had one missed call....it was my boy.

He never calls before noon when I'm working, so maybe he got good news from the parole board today?

The next 4 hours til our visit is going to be pure torture. Hopefully he'll call me back because I'm impatient!!!

Jessica - I'm sorry James is so sick right now. I'll keep you guys in my thoughts and hope that he gets well very soon! Hang in there!
Kesha - Thank you sooo much. I'm gonna lose my dang mind if my phone doesn't ring again soon. You'd think this whole prison thing would have taught me patience, but apparently NOT! I hope you get a date soon too! Love ya!
Layla - Congrats on the transfer! That's great that he's so close to you now. Mine is 7 miles away from me but I remember driving halfway across the state to see him, so I'm glad he's so close now. I'm happy for you!

OK, as soon as I hit Submit Reply on my last post, my phone rang like I hoped it would....

It wasn't good news though, but it's OK because neither of us had our hopes up anyway. Apparently, the detective, prosecutor, AND judge all wrote letters to the parole board and basically batted him down. They even suggested that he shouldn't get his jail time credit and he should stay there as long as they can possibly keep him. How nice was that?

Oh well, Danny's got a good attitude about it and we had a good phone call. We're both looking forward to our visit tonight and everything's gonna be just fine.

He said "just hold on a lil while longer baby and I'll be home in a minute". I told him I haven't gone anywhere yet, so I'm not going to leave him now. Crazy kid.

OK, just wanted to update yall. Now I can chill til I go see him in 4 hours. Love ya's....

I didnt know the prosecutor and detectives got involved. That sucks.....big time. Hopefully the visit will cheer him up. It's amazing how they can remain positive. When they rescheduled my guys hearing.........I was so upset, yet he just kept saying "thats cool, dont worry about it". If it were me I would have been furious. But at least your wait is almost over!!!

Ok here go for the third time

I've written my reply twice already and it disappeared into thin air!!!!! Ok so I finally figured out where everyone is. In the coming home threads

. I'm a lil jealous but so so so so very happy for all of you

. It is also good for me to see others fianlly getting there b/c sometimes I still feel like I'm stuck in a neverending dream.
So Jimmy and I arent fighting anymore about the wedding stuff b/cwe aren't talking about it. That actually is a good thing though b/c I'm still so angry and upset and thats more my problem than his and I dont want him stressed out over it.
Well I'm excited that its Friday and another week over and done. I can't go visit this weekend (work

)but thats ok b/c it will make next weeks visit even better. After a week of being a mess, drinking way too much and feeling sorry for myself I'm ready to get back on track. Hey there ladies!
TGIF has new meaning to me! My 5 year old has been crying like crazy about the side of her mouth hurting. I've looked at it and I don't see anything wrong with it. There's no canker sores, it's not swollen, and she doesn't have a fever. I gave her some mortin to help with the pain but she says she's tired but the pain keeps waking her up. I really don't know what to do. As her mother I really don't know what to do! So I've had a really long day and I'm sure it'll be a long night!
No letter from James today! I get to talk to him tomorrow at 6pm so hopefully I'll find out if he's feeling better. I'm so worried about him and my daughter now. I don't even want to know what could happen next!!!!!!

I cleaned out my closet AGAIN today...I swear, I just donated 3 full bags of clothes when Katrina happened...and I still managed to have clothes that I NEVER wear. But this time it was only like a bag of clothes

I also cleaned the inside of my car today b/c it was beautiful outside

I talked to the man AGAIN twice today

...and I got a letter

SO I was happy about that one...except my wallet hates all these phone calls

I did say something to Dave today that I feel REALLY bad about

...we were on the phone and I was complaining about my money situation (b/c my job gave me real crappy hours this week and we go threw like $50 a week on calls)...and he said that all I care about is money, yata yata yata. Well...I replied back "Babe, If call I cared about was money...do you think I'd be with you???"

I did NOT mean for it to come out in a bad way or anything like that...I just meant that since he's in prison...he really can't provide for us, ya know? It's not his fault! But...that comment hurt him

Luckily we got past it and had 2 good phone calls...but darn, I feel bad about saying that

Hey everyone, I just stopped in to say hi. It's been a very long time since I visited this thread, but HERE I AM finally!!! I wish these days could move just a few months faster!! HELLO WORLD!!! Anyways for some reason lately I have been having trouble falling asleep. Last night/morning, I went to bed at 7 AM and woke up at 11am and haven't been back to bed since!! This is third time, this has happened to me!! I have got to be from another planet!!
