Hey ladies..well before I go to sleep I had to check in on my girls!!

I can't wait!! But we can't wait that long to get married, so we are getting married while he is still incarcerated. I just got the wedding papers yesterday..

But now our wedding is probably going to be postponed due to riot on Thrusday in Calipatria

. But it is better than waiting 14 months to get married..

Oh Poo Poo! I've been out and about all weekend and I see I've already missed like 10 pages of posts

Come on now, I can't keep up with you guys!!! Let me try and play catch up!

Well girls, this weekend was pretty good. James has been encouraging me to get out of the house more, because I really don't have much of a life since he's been gone! I went to the movies Friday night and the plan was to see Duece Bigalo European Gigalo BUT it was sold out so we saw 4 Brothers instead which was alright, nothing that amazing. Saturday night my girlfriend and I went out for sushi and had some wine. It was nice just to get out of the house! I am leaving for Las Vegas on Thursday. I am going with my mum and we are going to play some Blackjack and Craps

I cannot wait, I am so excited! This is a much needed vacation before I start school the first week of September. James and I are doing very well. We spoke on the phone 3 times today

I will be going to pick up our official marriage certificate after I get back from Vegas so that means I can finally change my last name to his!

Jackie ~ You are so funny girl jamming out to that Bob Marley! I'm really glad to hear you and Dave had a nice visit this weekend with NO fights! Girl, you must need a new pen by now b/c you've wrote so many letters these past days! I know Dave must love getting all that mail! I know my hubby does when I decide to write often. You are such a good woman!!!!!

Marj ~ When does school start? What are you studying babe? They better not give you too much work b/c we need you to stay logged on girl!! Auntie Jeanne told me she expects straight A's out of you!! You're only 20?!? I thought you were like at least 30 something!! J/K honey I knew you were 20! Football season starts so soon girl! Who is your team? I have to rep for my MIAMI DOLPHINS, but James is a PATRIOTS freak so he's sorta recruited me!! I love ya girly!

Jeanne ~ Sis, 4 days!!!! I can't believe it's almost here girl! Let us know you are ready to rumble!! BTW how far is the courthouse from your house? Awww I see Herb is taking another class. He is so wonderful and I'm proud of him. We are lucky to have such dedicated and motivated hubbys! Jeanne, I just realized our counters are exactly the same now.

Sel ~ Best of luck on the job hunt! I know it won't be hard for you to find something girl. 4 months and a few days till your bookie comes home!! That gives ya about 2 visits a month

It's going to FLY girl and you know it!! It won't be long before you and Kevin are bringing the kids down here to FL for Auntie Jeanne to watch!!

Jen ~ Girl I thought I was the only one worrying about setting up our place, where we're going to live, financial issues, habits, etc. I believe we need to just take one day at a time and everything shall fall into place. It can be very overwhelming for me at times too. If your hubby's asked you to talk to his family that could be a good thing girl. No worries, you guys will be just fine

We all get a little anxious, but just know that when he comes home everything will be wonderful. You have a lot to look forward to!!

Brandi ~ Happy Birthday Sweetie!!!!! Did you do anything special? I know how much you miss Demetrius and I hope and pray you get your visits back soon girl. I know how difficult it is being apart from him but just know you will be together very soon. Let us know what the Warden says regarding his visits.

Niki ~ 5 months till David comes home!! So you are thinking about moving to Tampa? It's a great area! James and I lived there prior to him going to prison. I think you'd be happy there

Hi girls.

There's way too much for me to catch up on here, so I'm just gonna say a great big THANK YOU to those of you who had such kind words of encouragement for me over the weekend. I will make it through all my drama somehow. I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know.

I'm home from work AGAIN today :shake: but the kids start school on Thursday, so hopefully I can get back to a semi-normal life...whatever that is! I hope you're all having a wonderful Monday so far. I'll try to keep up a little better around here! Welcome to all the new '06 girls too!

Good morning all my wonderful ladies,

Today I went to work (yes Marji the car got me there and back....it is running good) and came right back home. I woke up about 1am sicker than a dog. But I'm Superwoman so I went to work and just kept getting sicker. (Don't ever want to drink coffee again by the way). So an hour and a half later I am on the way home. Meds have kicked in and I will be going to bed. There is a 24 flu bug going around.

Jen-girl I am just waiting for the doctor to give me the clearance to exercise and I and I are going to join our YMCA here in town. I had neck surgery almost 4 months ago and right now he is still not to please with me if I were to exercise....

Steph- I am glad that you seem to be doing better today. And I know that you can't wait for school to start....Just keep the faith girl, it is all going to work out all right...I know it will...

Niki-hey girl right back at ya.And you are right we are family...

Sparkles and Nastyboo- so glad that you joined our little family. Will okay so it's not so little anymore, but girl you will find nothing but unconditional love and support in here.

Sel-now when you get to see your man or when you write him tell him that Auntie Jeanne will be already to babysit for you when the time comes

Mari- Girl you have been one of the biggest keep me sane people in this whole thing...as soon as I know what the Judge said you will know even if your in Las Vegas because you will hear the screams LOL seriously I hope you have a great time and a safe trip and we want to hear all about it when you get home. And yes our time is the same. See why we are tight sis....love you girl..

yes party time in NYC as well in JUNE 2006 cuz he is coming back home

silly me is planing it all already and we talked about it at the last visit how i will have him fly to the city from Buffalo and not get on the bus/train and so on

i guess all the silliness keeps us sane

Oh, my STARS y'all! I can't believe how quick this thread is growing! I coulda sworn it was just a couple of hours ago it was only at 10 pages! I'm not even gonna try to catch up except to send sympathy and *hugs* to Gypsy on the loss of her friend.

Okay, well, here's the Texxie update. I got an email from Chris's mom. She had just gotten back from a visit with him.

I called the phone company AGAIN this morning and the stupid block is still in place! According to the gal I talked to, the prison "won't let them dial into it." Whatever! I kept her on the phone, questioning her about the problem... I asked if it would do any good for me to call the prison and was told that no, it was a software problem at the phone company. I got a supervisor's name and I'm gonna keep calling, every hour on the hour if I have to, to get the problem taken care of. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

Anyhow, girls, y'all keep on bein' strong and comin' back here to get your hugs

and let off your steam!

Happy Birthday to me!!!! Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! Well the warden called me this morning and he said that Demetrius needs to write him a letter and then he would consider reinstating his visits but he wasn't sure yet. He told me that he would for sure give us a special visit before November though if he wrote the letter to him. So I don know that I will at least see him for one day before November 5th.

That is fine too I will take what I can get! I am having a good day so far I just got a delivery for my b-day from Demetrius, he sent me flowers and a gift bag full of goodies with a balloon!

That made my day! My best friend and him schemed up a plan to do this, I love them both so much! Well I hope everyone is having as good a day as I am!

I got a letter from David today, and he still says that he hasn't gotten any of my letters. He think that I have left him for dead. I write to him and send him a letter every single day, even on Sunday, I walk to the mailbox and drop a letter in, but since he was moved from CFRC he says he hasn't gotten any of them. There hasn't be 1 day (except when he went from Rock Road to CFRC) that I haven't know exactly where he is. I check the Doc webpage religiously. And I have called all the prisons that he has been in and they all say they would transfer any mail for up to 30 days. I haven't gotten any letters back and none of them contain anything other than my letters on notebook paper written with a blue pen...i did specify this to the doc because with my luck they think blue pen is contraband

! So anyway he says he isn't getting my letters... I dont care if he doesn't get them it is just killing me that he thinks that I left him for dead. He should know better.
Another thing, he says that he hasn't gotten the money I send him weekly, but when I called about that, they told me the dates he did get it, he wrote his letter on the 17th saying all this (I got it today) and yet they say he got money from me on the 15th and spent it on the 19th. I am confused... is he playing games with me? How can you spend money you aren't getting? And I started writting to him about this, but if he isn't getting his mail what is the point.....
One more thing he failed to mention in his letter but the doc was proud to point out... he is in confinement... what does that mean? He isn't in solitary confinement... so I don't get it.

Sorry so long, figured who better to ask than my gurls who prolly know more about the doc then the people who work there.
