Hey Ladies,
Well we had a great visit today and cleared alot of things, he is so ready to come home. Was kinda upset with me for paying off his fines, they were only his traffic fines but he got over it quick and is glad I did, sorta lol, still has his fines to pay that he's doing time for but we will work those out what DOC hasn't paid, which is a whole $4.80 every four months out of his gang pay, I get to call his caseworker Monday and find out why the rest hasn't went to his books yet and why he hasn't been able to access his trust fund money, which he better be able to by Monday or I'm gonna be ticked cause I'm the one who puts that money in there. But it was a good visit and I got 2 cards and a bigger box of chocolate for Valentines Day I love that man, he is also making me a jewelry box out of wood that they scrapped from a job. But I will get to see him one more time this month before back to working my weekends, and he is not looking forward to that, but at least he has money in his phone account to call me, now. Hey ladies!!!! How is everybody? Well, I went to see Brian on Saturday and let me tell you something. I HATE those female CO's!!! I would much rather have the men working visitation. They are so damn strict and condesending. It's like they're our guys momma or something. Nothing was said to us, but we were watching other people get chewed out for some of the most insignificant things!! When the male CO's are in there, they just kind of keep an eye on things and leave people alone to visit. Not the "women". Anyway--sorry, I didn't mean to get on my soapbox!!lol!! So, I guess I've missed like a whole two weeks around here. I hate to say this, but it sort of seems like it makes the time go by faster, logging on ever so often, and catching up with you all is great though non the less. I can't believe that it is almost the middle of February. I am still in my 1-- some odd days so I won't be going to the coming home forum with the rest of you ladies until my 60 day hits.... I am just for what ever makes it go by faster. I have been running around like a chicken with the head cut off from so many things I have going on. School of course is a mess.... I then on top of the normal courses, decide to do a second start class that just started Sunday, and I have to sit in class for 4 freaking hours straight. What a drag. Woody is not being a spoiled assed lil brat right now, cause I had to let it be known ;;;; HERE HERE,, put the foot down a bit. you know... I told him, hey, damnit, I got too much other s*** to be doing right now, than searching for a car and yada yada yada... So, he got the jist that I didn't need the extra additives with the current stuff that is stressing me and called off the dogs... LOL... But, then my son and school, that is a totally other issue, I've been to that school 4-5 times in the last couple of weeks, a lil boy (6th) grade threatened some of the students (including mine) saying he had a gun and would shoot them... WTF!!!!! so, I had to find the sanity after the fact of that and cool down first before I went up there after that. And all the lil boy got was suspension for 3 days and I said, that is why the children are able to come back and make good on the threats, no way in HELL was he supposed to be allowed back on school property... Well, ladies, let me holla at ya'll for a minute before I'm out for the next week or so...
Mrs. Patrice- so glad to see you recovering well. How long do you have off 6 wks? Or was it not that major of a surgery? I know those cancerous cells are headache honey. You in those double digits now baby... Whooo HOooo..
Mrs Jackie- Hey, you, so you and Dave not bumping heads as much now? Only during the first few calls, That is excellent... LOL!!! I know he understands perfectly well why you needed to go to work... He'd be more upset if you didn't and he wouldn't be able to call so, don't sweat it... 5 more visits huh? Girl I wish, It was down to 5 more visits.... oh, no wait, for me it is too, cause with school and all, I'm only going to see him and my brother once a month... only.... If that... with a Sunday class now too. I don't even know if they'll get that...Good luck with your mom, man, maybe you all are getting along better because she is respecting you as a woman now, I just hope this doesn't take you two back a few steps... You know? They never want to let us make our own decisions, mistakes, fall on our face whatever the case may be, they do think of us always as their baby... Well, baby is all grown up now, ready to be married and everyting.

Mrs. G.- Dont' hurt him girl, oh, weee, that is some nice stuff. and of course every girl should at least own a few pieces of nice lingerie... Makes them go wild, then of course you don't got to go all out, cause it's going to end up on the damn floor anyways... LOL.....probably all, except the shoes....
Mrs. Steph- Girl, you sound like me, just putting up entertainment centers and all, I actually love doing all of that type of stuff, man in the house or not, my last project was my son's pool table, oh boy, what fun... NOT!! They had all of the wrong instructions and everything. I know that your man would have rather put that up for you though.. I know he further appreciates how you are going through trying to have everything right for once he comes home. And girl, don't worry, you are not the only one who diet has "left the building" cause I tried it , and woo, it is too much work for me to keep up with.
Mrs. Marj- What is the damn deal? Is school whooping your tail too? Cause I know mine is outta there... I'm feeling you on those Olympic games, my channel was glued to it all last night, and woke up this morning to channel 22 and more Olympic Games, I missed the opening ceremony though. But, I can't wait until the figure skating and all of that comes (21) the snowboarding was awesome too.. Well, gotta bounce now.

Hey there Ladies! Let me start by saying that things are getting better for me. James will be home before I know it! And that's truly exciting. Now things with his Aunt are still uneasy but I'm learning to deal with my problems with her and try to make something positive out of it. So how is going on for me right now. I got our taxes done and should get a refund next week. I go to take my GED pre-test on Wednesday. I've been studying my a** off these past few weeks. And then on March 17th (James' birthday) I'm getting my tubes tied. I hate the fact that James won't be here to help my recover but at least we can have a healthy marriage and not worry about getting pregnant. Anyway, I'm dreeding tomorrow so much! All these mushy commercials about Valentine's Day are killing me. Would this day just come and go already!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you all get through the day! And sorry I haven't been posting lately. I feel bad in a way in another I've been keeping busy! And it helps time go by quicker.

Patrice- Besides having our men in the system we have something else in common. I had the same procedure done over a year ago. My doctor said if I hadn't gotten pregnant with my daughter Alyssa Grace I would had one of the worst cases of cervical cancer he had ever seen. My daughter saved my life and that's why we gave her the middle name Grace. She has been my grace from God! Now I do have severe scar tissue from the surgery and the doctor's have told me it would be in my best interest not to have anymore children because of the risk of a miscarriage. I hope your surgery was not as in depth as mine. And that all goes well with you.

Hi ladies, How are we all today? I'm a lil sad, a lil depressed, a lil confused, and a lil happy. Yup I'm wierd I know. I just got off the phone w/ Jimmy. We talked twice b/c he sounded so sad I just wanted to do anything I could to cheer him up. Today is his birthday as well as Valentines, as well as the day he proposed last year. He sounded terrible and that drives me insane b/c there is only so much I can do about it. I sent money, books, and cards to cheer him up and it seems like none of it worked. I went to visit this weekend and that was GREAT. But it was also scary b/c he is so tense and wound up about gettin out that hes having a hard time dealing w/ the fact that hes still got six monthes to go. Jimmy does not handle stress well and he is stressin himself out. I suggested he start workin out more to relieve some tension but I don't know if he will. So thats the sad and depressed part.
The happy part is that at the visit we agreed to proceed with the wedding plans. And I was so upset about cancelling it that I just wanted to say screw it and elope until my brilliant fiancee promised his mom we wouldn't. So now we were stuck with not having money to pay for our own wedding, not willing to let his mom pay for it, and not eloping. But we worked out a budget and made a plan and I'm throwing my own wedding. I know maybe I should say we can wait till next year so we can save more money or do other things but ya know I've been waiting for 18 monthes and I deseerve to have my wedding on my terms. AND I"M GONNA DO IT!!

So the confused part is that his release date on the DOC website has actually changed to a date sooner than we expected. So I'm not sure whether to be excited about that or just expect them to eventually fix thier error

So here we are and I'm really happy that v-day is over. As the day went on yesterday I became more and more depressed. Although I did go have sushi w/ my best friend and get incredibly drunk and that was fun! So today I'm off from work but my goal is to get up from this computer and go have some kind of productive day. But since I'm such a huge procrastinator and I can be productive later let me take a minute and catch up.

Jackie- I'm so sad for you that you didn't get to visit but its WONDEFUL you guys had good phone calls lately! You must be so excited with such little time till he comes home.

Marj- Girl seriously I only plan on gettin married once! We are so excited to be planning the wedding and hopefully that will keep me so busy the next six monthes will fly by. Hello to the family!!!!

Well Valentine's Day has come and gone and I got finally got my poster and letter today. Brian told me that his unit is on lock-down so he's pretty bumed about that but otherwise all's well. So it's hump day and I'm getting ready for the weekend. I planned on visiting Sunday, but we're expecting a really strong cold front that might bring some sleet/snow this weekend. That is too crazy!!! Today the temp was 77 and tomorrow it's supposed to be 80!!! Well you know what they say about Texas--if you don't like the weather, stick around a day and it'll change!! So do any of my sisters have big plans for the weekend? I have a huge test I have to take online on Monday.

Jen-Hey girl!! Hope you're having fun shopping!! I wish I had some money to shop with! Did you get your dresser yet? Hope your week's been good!!

Jessica-How are you? Hope everything is good in your neck of the woods! How's your family? Take care!!

Sherry-Hey!! How are things going on the mother-in-law front? I ran into mine at Wal-Mart on Monday. And wouldn't you know- she had the nerve to come up and talk to me!!! I kept my composure though. HI.......Well we made it through another holiday without our men!!! I will be so glad when this is over. I miss him so much. I had plans to go visit this weekend, but today we got Alot of Snow!!! so I guess I will have to wait and see till tomorrow to see if Saturday is going to be ok. I have some things to get taken care of tomorrow before I go so If the weather is nasty, might not be able to make the trip. Were both needing a visit badly. I got another letter today, Thanking me for all his Cards, I couldnt make up my mind so he ended up with 4, I tried and put something special in each one, and then sent a letter separately, so he would have got 5 pieces of mail, I was thinking he might not end up getting them all on one day, but he did. I had to smile, he said when the CO handed him ALL his mail, he smiled and said well you must be doing something right!!! Brian smiled and said, what can I say she LOVES me!!! That I do

Even though we got lots of snow today, I made it over to my parents house for Dinner. They look so forward to the visits. I feel bad I dont spend as much time there as I should. My dad took my mom ice fishing the other day, and so we had Fresh Fish....Blue Gill my favorite Yum Yum!!!
Then we sat and watch Americas funniest Videos, My moms Favorite. She has MS with Dementia and osteoporisis, I feel so bad.....its so hard to see my mom going through that at 64, breaks my heart.

Did anybody send there guy that love contract that was mentioned in a post on here?? I did and he sent it back signed, with a little note, saying he really liked the idea....awwwh
Cross your fingers for me girls, so that I can make my visit this weekend. If all else fails, I will try next weekend, My friend from PTO that I have carpooled with before is going up next weekend......so maybe I should wait anyhow ......would make for a real long drive though on Sunday, since I have to leave for Detroit late in the afternoon for work for a week, so I will be MIA the week of the 27th Will be wishin I had a laptop.

Dave and I are doing good We just talked twice today and we got along GREAT...so I'm very happy about that. But I'm just kinda going threw the BLAHS lately...like a bad case of the blahs. I think I'm depressed and the anxiety and nerves from Dave coming home are getting to me subconsciously. B/C I don't feel nervous or sad or anything like that...but I don't feel happy...IDK! So I've just been taking a break from the computer for the past few days to get my mind right and get out of this BLAH phase. Tonight I just feel like finishing the letter that I started earlier and watching some tv before I take it down. I have been reading up on you lovely ladies and you are all in my thoughts!!! I'm gonna TRY to come back tomorrow night and hopefully be in better spirits!! I know I'll get past it...but da*n, wasn't I just feeling this way like 2 weeks ago I'm tired of this ish...that's for sure!!!! But I'm gonna be fine...I always am and I know alot of you ladies know how I feel. Keep your heads held high!!! LOVE YA ALL Hugs
