well off to play games....I have four days off...I think I am actually going to bake a cake from scratch....poor people that eat it....j/k...I am going to bake it for my sister's on Christmas.

Guys I just have to say thank you!!!!! I don't know what I would have done with out my girls through all of this. This is family.....we will have to have a 2006 HOME club when all of our men come home. WE have....

Hey ladies...I just wanted to say HI Just got off the phone with the man...didn't have a good convo but HOPEFULLY this won't affect us. IDK...but everytime we don't completely get along now...I get soo scared that we are gonna go back to beefin'...and I REALLY don't want that Tonight...most of our not getting along was MY fault...b/c he didn't sound beat to talk when he first called...so I let that affect me and I caught a major attitude Then he said that maybe I should NOT come up on Sat...so I BUGGED!! But he was sayin'...just b/c visits might only be 20 mins, so it would be pointless for me to drive...but I took it as - he didn't want me to come up...so I caught a BIG attitude! I hate this...I hate when I catch an attitude with him...esp. b/c I was in a good mood before he called...now I'm all heated! SORRY ladies...I had to vent to someone...and unfortunetly for all of you....you are the ones I vented too And ladies lol...I didn't even get to drop anymore hints about the beard I hope he remembers that I want him to CUT IT!!! But I doubt that he will...oh well....

Jackie I can completely understand your frustrations about the phone call. Can I be honest???? That is one of the biggest reasons I am glad Herb and I can't have phone calls. If I am having a bad day or just in a freaking bad mood guess who I take it out on and your first two don't count....YUP....when he would call from county, OMG Jackie...if he didn't sound like he felt like talking, or said something that I DIDN"T think was a good thing to say.........or if I READ into what he was saying to me...watch out...this woman would turn to SYBIL in a heartbeat...BY THE WAY THAT IS MY NICKNAME from one of his old bosses...of course I earned that nickname when I told his boss what he could do .....don't beat your self up girlie..I can understand him not wanting you to drive all the way down there for a 20 minute visit. But see what our men don't understand is that WE would and WILL drive down there for a 20 minute visit just so we can see them...
Keep your chin up girlie...this will all be over real soon for all of us...

AWW...thanks Jeanne! I know that we will be FINE...I just hate when we don't get along! After our 2 month beef-session...I realized how much I truely HATE when we are like that! So now...every time we start not being GREAT...I get all nervous that we are gonna be like that again...and I take it out on him Tonight...I was a BI**H...there is no other way to put it Everything he would say...I would catch an attitude...and in return, his attitude would get even worse. Even though I knew what he meant about visits...I took it to heart, like he didn't want me to come...DUH Jackie lol! He KNOWS that I will come down there...just like I KNOW that he wants me too...but I guess tonight was not the night to say that to me...esp. the way he said it Thanks for relating girl...atleast I'm not the only one who can catch an attitude lol. Happy Friday everybody!!!!!!
Well, I got a Christmas card from Michael yesterday. On the back of the envelope, he wrote that he's sorry for what happened & that he still love's me. I'm very relieved that he sent that. I still haven't written him. Mostly, because I don't really know what to say, but I think you are all right, tensions are high because we're getting down to the wire now. We're both getting anxious...I don't know, maybe I'll go visit on Monday, see if we can't make this better. On another note, I started my training at my new job yesterday. It's really hard, but I will make money there, which is good. Busy weekend coming up for everyone, huh? I hope it all goes well for you. At least we can look at it as the last Christmas we spend without our men.

Jeanne~4 days off, huh? Hope you are able to enjoy it. I know it must be so very hard for you, but you have SO much to look forward to. I hope everyone has a GREAT Christmas...and, of course, a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! It's gonna be a great year for us...why? Cause it's the year of coming home!!! As Kevin says...when Christmas passes on...IT'S ON & POPPIN!!

I just wanted to share w/y'all what he had sent to me for Christmas...he never fails to amaze me...and well, make me love him even more than I did (if that's possible at all). Anyway...he sent me a ring (a sterling silver one...and he said "No, boo...it's not real but, it's all I can do...just know it's from my heart...I'll make it up to you next Christmas" awww ) and a teddy bear (yes...I'm STILL a lover of stuffed animals..have them everywhere. )

I love all y'all 2006'ers...and when this is all over...we CAN'T lost this "bond" we all have...we are here for each other now...and we'll be there for each other always.

I hear ya, hoping! The last Christmas apart...actually the last real holiday apart for me & Kevin...unless you count New Year's a real holiday.

I know it's killing your hunny not being able to be there with his son...but, just keep in mind he will be there in no time...and get to hold him, love on him, etc...all he wants to!! We are all here for YOU tho...whether you need to come in here & vent, cry, scream, yell, cry happy tears...anything...we are here for you...24/7 (most of us are literally here 24/7 *raises hand*) So...just jump right on in...we are all ears (or eyes I should say)

TY Sel! Dh's heart breaks everytime he has to say goodbye......my two older boys call him daddy....he's the only real father figure they have. X is very mentally ill/addict and so he is only there physically 4 days/month for them.....and during that time his mom and dad do most things for he and the boys.......dang, I can ramble, huh? LOL How long has ur hunny been in? Do u get to visit him for X-mas?

Merry Christmas to all my 2006 girls!!!

Well, I had a wonderful visit with my boy last night. Unfortunately his grandma caught the flu and couldn't take his lil girls to see him for Christmas after all. I had already scheduled my visit for myself so I couldn't take anyone with me either. He got no other visits for Christmas except me. He's doing alright though. We had a good one and he'll be calling here 200 times tomorrow I'm sure. He just wants to get past December 31st and get on with 2006!! It's almost here though!!

Well, I'm off to bake cookies and watch Christmas movies with my rugrats today. (Except while my Bengals are playing!) I think they're just going thru the motions til it's time to go to bed. They cannot wait!!! If it were only this easy to get their butts in bed every OTHER night of the year lol. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your families. WE'RE ALMOST THERE!! Love ya girls....

I felt a little funny at first because originally we thought hubby was coming home in 2009...so that's the club I joined. I felt like I was intruding a little and didn't want to post...but you ladies are soooo sweet!

Jackie ~ Girl, I soooo know what you mean. When my hubby was in county that happened to us too. It's really frustrating. If we fought and then they had rack up and he couldn't call back right away I would cry like a baby. My husband is with TDCJ so we don't get phone calls now. Sometimes it's a good thing...the phone bills were outragous...but there are times when something happens and I just want to jump on the phone and share it with him...but I can't. *sigh* It was really hard when we had to evacuate from Hurricane Rita. Hubby was beside himself not knowing what was going on. It's so hard.
Don't beat yourself up. These are hard times and our emotions run wild sometimes. I can be fine one moment and then something will trigger me and then I am an emotional mess. It's crazy.
