Glad to here everyone had a good Christmas, mine was great got to see Will on Christmas Eve, went early cause I knew it would be packed out there and it was, withiin 10 mins of me getting there 14 more cars had gotten behind me and I got there around 7:30, by 8 I had stopped counting LOL, but I was glad so many guys got visits and I am sure alot more got some on Sunday. So that was a good thing. Spent the rest of the weekend with family.

Sign me up for one of those new siggys, I am gonna make sure I get it added to mine as soon as I can once 06 gets here.

It is so close, those doors are about to open up and let our men come home.

Hey ladies...how are you all doing?? Well...I'm doing GOOD! LOL...IDK why, but I have had this cheese-eatin' grin on my face ALL day thinking about the fact that I only have EXACTLY 3 months left today:fb: (89 and a wake up!!) I think that's it's FINALLY starting to hit me that we're CLOSE!!!! I mean...only like the excitement part of it...I'm trying to stay away from the nervous/anxious/etc feelings FOR NOW!!! Besides that...today was ok...had to work, but luckily the day went by quick! Well...since you ladies have posted ALOT and I still gotta write Dave...I just wanted to say HI to everyone I hope you all had a WONDERFUL X-MAS Only 6 more days and it will OFFICALLY be OUR year I can't believe this year is almost over...time flies (NOT lol)!!!! LOOK JACKIE!! ^ You're in the 80's now! I'm just like you were yesterday...I cannot believe I have 89 days and a wake up! I'm trying not to let the anxiety get the best of me and I'm staying positive and hopeful that these last weeks will go by quickly. I'm sooooo excited today though, so I know how you felt yesterday.

I hope you're all having a great week so far. I'm home from work AGAIN. The kids' dad just called and said he's bringing gifts over from his mom (cuz of course he has nothing for them from himself). My daughter's spending the week with my mom so he won't even see her, but she'll be happy about that cause she has no love for him. So, I'm just hangin out with my boys til he gets here and hopefully he won't want to stay too long...I'm ready to get it over with! Other than that, it's another lazy day at home. I'll check back in with yall later.

Jackie & Steph, I know exactly what you both mean. Herb has only 66 days left till he is Florida bound. Once he hits Florida who knows how long we really will have when they do his gain time, if not I at least know he will be home for sure June 9, 2006. All of a sudden it is like OMG he is really coming home. I am so siked and excited I just can't wait.

Herb has already said that everyone will be together next year for every holiday there is and every weekend there is and my ex, well he will just have to get use to it. Herb feels my ex has had 18.5 months to do what ever he wanted to with T and since he has spent very little time with him, not Herb's fault because he won't when he comes home that first year. (I know if T really wants to go to my ex's Herb won't stop him).

Life is so good ladies....

My Christmas was good, I went to see Demetrius Sat., Sun.,and Mon. I was glad I was able to be with him for 3 days and will be 3 days again this weekend. Well I just wanted to check in and say Hi! Jackie - I'm glad ya got to talk to Dave today and things are GOOD! I haven't done ish today except sit in front of this computer or watch movies on the couch! I did make it out to the store for ciggies and Blockbuster for MORE movies lol! My ex didn't buy his kids anything because he had $500 to shop for them and he decided to blow it on crack this year. He's a poor excuse for a man. His mom sent some pj's and candy over for the kids. Oh well. 88 DAYS AND A WAKE UP for you!! I'm so excited for all of us. Have a great night....love ya!
Jeanne - WOW Herb's really on his way home soon! I'm so happy for you too. I know what you two mean about T's real dad. I've been dealing with the same ish for 3 years and I have a big feeling that the sperm donor's going to regret it once he sees with his own two eyes how close Danny and these kids really are. They love Danny sooo much and my ex knows this, but I think reality's gonna kick him in his butt in about 3 months. Ohhhh well, he's had his chances and he's passed em up! Girl, I'm so glad that things are going well for you. This is almost over...love ya!

My hubby's official release date is March 9, 2006. He was eligible for parole 2 weeks ago, but they have not talked to him yet, so he will definitely not be coming home before 2006. So that means that I would like to be added to this group. It is exciting that it is getting closer until his release date. When he went in, it felt like it would never get here. But it is right around the corner. We CANNOT wait until daddy comes home. Yay!!!

download it to your computer, save it as something, post on here and go to the attachment icon, the paper clip above while you are posting, it will send you to browse for the picture and you attach it, if it is too big to attach here, you might have to resize it, but it should work fine...

hey ladies, how are things with all of you, well , i'm on PTO so that means i am at work, which sucks because I am supposed to be on vacation until the 3rd... but my boss needed me to come in today and help with a few things around the office and guess what? i am already done... jeez,,, it doesn't make any kind of sense, but who cares, Im getting paid to talk to you guys, so it is an upside...
well, how was everyone's Christmas, mine sort of sucked, I was like Bahhumbug,,,, My son opened his gifts, and it made me feel okay for a while to see he enjoyed everything... But, this is the first year with out my mother so, it felt sort of like the "twighlight zone", but i did talk to her a couple of times, i tried not to keep her on the phone, didn't want her to hear me all snotting over the phone, crying and all... But, I did get a chance to go visit woody at the hamilton unit for the first time, he made it there Wednesday and had already wrote a letter home complaining.. Kimmy (mervsgirl) had already warned me of everything he was complaining about so when i got the letter, i just laughed. then before the visit, i met Kimmy outside, she is so sweet, and we went in she showed me and told me how things work at this unit, then, when woody came out and saw the food i had got for him out of the vending machine, he was like "what is this" i said that is all they got, some soda, some off brand chips, oatmeal pie, and some reeces pieces,, he was like I don't want that, cause he is so used to getting like chicken sandwiches, breaded pork chop sandwiches, hamburgers, or breakfast sausage sandwiches, popcorn and bottled sodas, at all those other units he has been blessed to be at, this was like a total disappointment for him, I just laughed... He was like you got me this honey bun with what appeared to be grease in the wrapper from sitting so long, you eat it, I was like , naw, i'm straight when i leave here i am going to stop at that wendy's i saw up the street, LOL... I must have pissed him off with that one, but he laughed it off too.... saying it wont' be long,,, he says he think he was placed there for a reason, cause he has had it majorly easy these years, now he has to do 6 months in hell... learning a lesson yet buddy? LOL......

Now to my 2006 sisters, we have 3 days til 2006 right? Whooo Hooo.... .Let me wrap to you all now...

Kimmy (mervsgirl)- again thank you so very much for all your help and your very honest opinions of what our next 6 months will be like at Hamilton Unit,, I hate that that was our first time and last time meeting, BUT, glad at why that is ( Mervs coming home) I pray that all is well and we never have to meet under those circumstances ever again.....You , R, and Merv, please enjoy all of life as one forever.........
Jackie- hey, lil mama, Sooo, did Dave cut his beard off? I hope he did give you the one thing you asked for for Christmas, that way you could have a clean shaven kiss...... either way, you probably still got a kiss huh?
Steph- I am so sorry that your kids dad blew off $500 on crack,, damn that must be hard on you, SORRY... It is like bad baby daddies are an epidemic or something... finding a man to stand up to that role and love your kids is a A+ though, hope other than that all was well and they enjoyed christmas anyways....
Marj- hey, lady, are you still at home? still eating mama's good cooking? did you get a chance to go visit yet? I hope so, anyways, enjoy these last few days of freedom (from school) I know I have yet to even pick up the damn book and pick my classes for this semester, sometimes, i be like, I'm going to take a break, but, I know as soon as I do that, it's over for me,,, a break will turn into 2-3 years of break time.....
Brandi- Hi, how are you? good to hear about the 3 day visits, girl I would not know what to do with my self... 3 days......watch out now...
Chelle- I see you are like me with that, don't wake up until a certain time, but my son clearly defies me everytime, except this year, he stayed up sooooo late the night before, like until 2am, with my brother and cousins playing the game and watching movies that by the time he woke up, it was 10:30 am,,, so glad, then he went down and after opening everything, still came and woke me up to give me my gifts and to kiss my forehead and say thank you mama... i couldn't be mad, it was after 10:30.....

Hi ladies! Just checking in because I am BORED!!! This staying at home is about to drive me crazy. I feel like I have cabin fever. I got out of the house today for about 15 whole minutes and then I came right back home. I'm looking forward to going to work again! Danny just called and said he worked out for a few hours today, 800 pull ups, 1000 push ups, blah blah blah...and here I sit at home on my butt lol! He said "I gotta get ready cause I'm comin HOME". I thought "mmhmm and I do too, while I drink another mountain dew and sit at the computer!" Apparently, reality hasn't hit me yet. I hope you're all having a great week so far, and enjoying the outdoors and the fact that you have LIVES!!!

Jackie - Hey girl! I hope you're having a good day at work. My ticker is below 3 months now like yours, and I was all excited yesterday, but today it's not even a big deal to me lol. So is his mother though, so I wish they'd both move to Siberia or something and take the whole family with them. I don't have that kinda luck tho! my mom left and I got a sense of sadness wash over me and I cried, weird because I was getting annoyed and we did have a few tiffs but now I miss her company we did have a good time, despite so much, but I am worried about her health....and hope it does not take years to see her again...

Back to work I went Hopefully though, this new year will bring me a new job!

I got a nice bonus though from the current job, and it helps since I lost some money last month now I can go shopping...for ME! and for the hubs...take the dog to the vet, and ummm well, go visit the hubs too

Kesha!! It was awesome to meet you Saturday!! I've kept things low-key except on this thread and the other one in Texas!!

I've many friends on here that will be here a while or just got set-offs and I respect that so I keep things low-key!! But trust me...I am ready to scream he is home!! If we don't get a date soon I'll be back at Hamilton the weekend after the 1st....I can't go that long without seeing Merv!! In the last 14 months I've only missed 1 time!!

To everyone else....we are so close to 2006!! Praying and waiting on a date here!! Everyone keep you heads held high...It's almost OUR YEAR!!
