Aight ladies...I just talked to the man before and he was tellin' me that he FINALLY went to Classifications today!!!:shake: LOL! Well...they changed the board at the beginning of Jan...so the one lady he knew isn't the head of it anymore But the dude that is said that most likely he will NOT get any days back b/c he's coming home soon anyway IDK why that should matter...but whatever! They are still gonna process his papers and see what happens...so who knows! But most likely, no days back...even though he has COMPLETELY stayed outta trouble the whole time he's been locked up Oh well...lol, I think I'd have a heart attack if he told me that he did get days back Besides that we just talked about the fact that reality hasn't hit either of us yet And also, he's gonna write my Mom and try to mend the relationship they have which each other. They did NOT get along when he was home b/c she has found out he was on the run!!! But she does send him X-Mas cards...so maybe there is some hope for them We'll have to see how that goes when she gets the letter!!!! Just wanted to update ya'll real quick! Kesha - My sympathies are with you and Woody on the passing of Grandma. That has got to be the worst feeling that an inmate can have, it is bad enough when you are free to deal with a loss, but when you have absolutely no control, or privacy to grieve that's rough. I know you visiting will help help him immensly.

Jessica - Welcome, I'm new to this forum too, but these lovely ladies have made me feel right at home. April will be here before you know it.

Steph - I wish it was my payday, these Monday holiday closing have my finances all messed up. You go and have a great visit.

Stormy - Chase is adorable, what a blessing

Kimmy - TDCJ needs to get off their butts and give you a date already. Have fun at family night.

Jackie - I wish I had the motivation to write my hubby like you do, but lucky for me he's not a writer either and we get as many phone calls as I can afford.

Marj, Jackie, Steph, yes, I was loving my long letter, but I have been so busy and distracted I have not gotten the chance to really sit and write him back he is thinking I don't want to write or that I am upset, which is not so, so I have to write back soon ...yikes...poor thing is over there thinking I am mad and won't write back I started one but dont want to rush it and he is asking me to tell him how I REALLY am doing...so I have to do this! But then it wont get to him until next week Darn it...

Hey hey girls! I'm just hangin out, waitin for my last phone call of the night so I figured I'd pop in here and see how yall are doing...and try to stay caught up around here for a change! The kids are all tucked in bed and I think I'm gonna watch a movie tonight, but that's only if I can tear myself away from PTO and Myspace for a minute lol! Marj - Hey lil momma! How ya doing?? I read your post while Danny was on the phone earlier so he could hear the what up what up lol! He has a name for you now. I mentioned something about you yesterday and he said "oh yeah, that's my gf down south" LOL!! I said "yep that's her". I am soooo ready for our visit...and yesss I'm at 80 days and a wake up unless his parole hearing goes the way it should next Tuesday. Then he'd be home sooner, but I don't get my hopes up for that anymore. I hope you're having a good one. Love ya!
Jackie - Girl, I'm right there with ya in needing a big reality check! I tell him 2 1/2 months ago was right before Halloween, which was just yesterday!! Time feels like it's creeping, but it's really flying by. March is gonna get here and I'll be runnin around like a mad woman trying to get ready. Til then, I'll just keep chillin on the computer and procrastinating as usual LOL! I'm glad Dave finally went to classifications today, and HOPEFULLY something GOOD will come out of it. I'll keep my fingers crossed! That's cool that he's gonna write your mom. Hopefully a lot of good will come from that too. Hope your night is a good one. Love ya!

Hello everyone! I'll memorize your names soon. Thank you for making me feel like part of your little family. I've been having a really bad day today. I haven't gotten a letter from my James in 4 days now. I was getting one every other day. Maybe I'm overreacting. We only get to talk on the phone once a week because I can't really afford those expensive calls. I just worry about him. I know that prison should help them learn a lesson, but I also know that he needs his family. Plus I'm worried cause North Carolina just banned smoking in all correctional facilities. It's so wrong. Like they aren't going through enough as it is! Well, thanks for listening. I feel a little better already just getting my thought out!

Mom I dont know if this will help or not I cant afford alot of phone calls either but he calls me several times a day and lets it ring once to let me know hes ok and hes thinking about me. So I know when its a one ringer unavailable call its my baby.We also write everyday it helps us. Just keep your head up and stay strong.

Hey Ladies, how are my 2006 sisters? Me I am on cloud 9, because I am finally going to get a visit!!!!!
I am carpooling with another woman from PTO, I am looking so forward to seeing him, its been 2 months, which is a long time for us, since we were used to at least once a month, sometimes more.
But anyhow I called the facility just to double check that I was still approved for visits, since he had been transferred, didnt want to take any chances of getting there and being turned away. I got the nicest CO on the phone today. Before I could even ask her to double check on my name, she offered, So cool. I told her that I had a broken leg and was that going to be an issue. She said no as long as they can search the cast, I said well its removealbe, thank god!! She also suggested jsut in case if I had any paperwork from the doctor explaining my injury to bring that along just in case they had any questions to the validity of the injury.
I dont care I will go through whatever I have to, to see my baby!!!!

I hope one of these days to be able to remember everybodies names, so that I can post to all of you, because by the time I get down catching up on all the posts I forget the details, but in the meantime, I hope all the rest of my 2006 friends are doing great!!

I am so happy for all of you who's loved ones are coming home very soon, your in my thoughts and prayers, hope you all get the things done you are wanting to get done before that special day gets here.

I just got here today...first time all day, I had to do some shopping today !! Got the man some stuff and some stuff for the house. Now I am so beat!!!

I heard from his sister, seems she forgot to tell me he called her to send me a message on New Years Eve, to tell me he loved me, missed me and Happy New Year, she forgot to tell me! She is lucky I like her!! Seems his spirits are up!

I finally mailed out my letter today!! But I need to start another one, I have so much to say!!

Okay Ladies...visit was AWESOME yesterday!!

Merv comes out trying to look half-way happy, he checks in, comes over kisses me and says "nothing yet huh"?

I was hugging him and all I said was "Would you like to have dinner with me Wednesday night"?

He looked at me and said "HUH"? I repeated the question and this HUGE grin broke out on his face!! And then it was on!! My head was spinning from everything he was talking about!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm having one of those where I don't want to do anything, nothing at all, and I haven't.

Kimmy -- glad you had an awesome visit. That was great the way you told him. Just think no more lonely weekends for you. What a feeling that must be!!!

Jackie -- So what all did you buy? I use to love to shop, but know with two kids intow, I hate it. So what movie did you watch? Can't remember the last time I watched a movie that wasn't rated G.

Jen -- Glad you finally got your message. Don't you just hate when people forget stuff like that! Can't wait to start my shopping for my homecoming, but I still got aways to go.

Jessica - I'm jealous, two letters and one that smelled like him. Gosh I wish I could smell him. But I don't think where my husband is they are allowed to have cologne. March will be here before you know it, hang in there.

Hey girls! I'm so far behind that I cannot catch up...AGAIN! I hope you've all had a good weekend. Mine's been kinda not-so-good. We have 77 days & a wake up and I think I've hit the panic, insecure, scared button. Our visit yesterday was horrible (because of me) and our phone calls last night were even worse (again cause of me). He called this morning and he just sounds sooo miserable (yep, cause of me). I had to start all of this 3 days before he goes before the board too, so now I feel all guilty because of that. We'll get thru it like we always do, but dang I knew this would happen...just didn't know it would happen so soon. There I was, wishing reality would hit me, and it hit me alright! Now I'm just scared to death. Oh well, one day at a time. There's no way I can catch up in here now, but I just wanna say....

Kimmy - Congrats on getting a date!!!!! I'm glad you had such a great visit this weekend.
Jen - I'm sorry you missed your New Year's message! It's cool that you got your letter sent to him though. I hope you've had a great weekend.

Hi, my girlies. OMG take a few days off and I have tons of pages to read to catch up on. Like Steph said there is no way to catch up on everyone.

Kimmy girl you know how I feel about you getting your date. I am so siked for the both of you...

I really need some motavation to get my butt in gear and clean this house from top to bottom. But I have NONE. As Kimmy can tell you (I just talked to her) that yup I'm sick again because of the weather change. They screwed up my medical insurance when we had open enrollement (long story) so know because it was their screw up they have to do it over again. So I won't get my insurance card for another two weeks.

But on the flip side of the coin, I talked to Tallahasse Friday morning and yes they will be picking Herb up on the 4th of March . He will go straight into a State Facitlity and once he is in he has to notifiy classifacations and so do I to get them to pull his file and see if he can have his time calcualted for the gain time. They said that there COULD be a chance he could come home before June 9th.

Sorry I have been MIA from here just feeling the blues and insecurities and until Kimmy goes OMG your getting sick again did it dawn on me as to why I was feeling this way....LOVE YA KIMMY...............
