Hey Ladies! I got to visit my hubby finally. Me and the kids went down today. Man that is a long drive 3 hours one way but it was worth it even if it was only for 4 hours. The kids hadnt seen him since april and I had only seen him that one time when his Grandpa passed away. So it wasnt a easy visit but this one I just wanted to eat him up. I probably wont be able to see him now till he finally moves to a halfway house but that should be soon. When he came in the visiting room he was so shocked because it was a surprise visit. You could tell that he had just woke up and it was 12:00 noon. Our daughter sat in his lap the whole time (she's 7). She misses him a lot. So there he was Jenny in his lap, him holding my hand as if he didnt want to let go trying to play a game of chess with our 14 yr old son. I tokk him pictures of our new grandbaby and of our 2 year old grandaughter. For a minute I thought he was going to cry. Finally he grinned real big and said "I think he looks like me". Boy I love that man. steph we all get that way so dont feel bad im sure he understandsI have my fingers crossed for you. Jeanne Im sorry you are not feeling well I hope you get better quick. I also have my fingers crossed that herb gets to come home sooner.Brandi I am glad you enjoy the new job and I am happy for you that you are finally closing on the house but I always hate moving to much work. Hey ladies...I just wanted to stop in real quick to tell you about visits! I got alot of catching up to do...but not sure if I'm gonna get to it right now b/c I still gotta shower and finish this laundry Well...visits went BAD IDK what the heck happened...but we were just BSin' around about nothing...and then he kept messin' with me (like normal)...so I would get quiet (like normal) and all of sudden he started BUGGIN' b/c I was "shuttin' down" and wouldn't talk about what we had planned to talk about!! Which isn't anything completely new and we've had a LOT worse visits then this...but this man was STRESSIN' HEAVY!!!!!! That was like at the last 15 mins of visits...and I kept trying to reassure him that I do deserve him (b/c he was all down sayin' I don't deserve him, I can do better, he causes all these issues...yada yada yada) So honestly, IDK what the heck happened! But I do know that I left with tears in my eyes feeling like ISH...and he was stressin'!!! Plus his Giants lost...and he was all mad b/c he they were losing when he came out to visits Yea...so that was my visits...don't know what the heck caused all that drama!!! Now I don't have any phone calls, I'm worried about him, and I'm stressed out now! PLUS, he decided to get into a fight before visits!!! The dude snuck him from behind after the fight was over...and grabbed him up and threw him down on the corner of the bed...so his back hurts! Dave wanted to go back and beat the dude up b/c "he can't be seen as a punk"! And that was BEFORE we started beefin'...so God only knows what he did when he went back with all this anger he had!! He told me if dude stepped to him again or talked ish...he was going for it...regardless of if COs where there or not All I gotta say is he BETTER have used his head and NOT have done any dumb ish...b/c if he picks NOW to start gettin' in trouble...I'll strangle him myself UGH...what a day!!! Ok...let me get to you ladies real quick....

But atleast you get 4 hours!!! Ok Ladies I have absolutely no hope of catching up on everything thats been goin on with all of you but I do need to vent. Today I had a wonderful visit with my honey and we talked about lots of things. But one thing that finally smacked both of us in the face was the fact that not only is he coming home in only seven months but we are trying to plan too much for the time he comes home. Its kinda hard to explain but its like this: Right now I'm living at home with family to "save money" ( not really happenin ). So when he comes home we need to move and also buy a second car b/c our lines of work definitely will not make sharing a possibility. Like everyone else he needs clothes and all the other basics. And on top of all that our wedding is in Oct. His parents have already commited to paying for most of it but still theres a lot of expenses we are expected to cover. I'm incredibly excited he is coming home and yet suddenly very very stressed about it. What if I can't get everything together? I make pretty good money but I'm not sure if this is all possible!!! The sad thing is that the wedding should probably be the last priority but its so important to both of us we can't bring ourselves to postpone it. Ok I just needed to vent. Thanks for listenin. Hey Ladies! Well go out of town for a couple of days and have lots to catch up on, lol. Actually my little sister rented a motel room for me and my nieces this weekend so we wouldn't have to make the long drive to visit since it wears me out and we have to leave so early in the mornings, its a 3 1/2 hr drive both ways so that was good. We visited on Sunday, and talked about what he needs for when he comes home plus how well he's doing in his class and that hopefully he'll get to go halfway soon and maybe they'll move him closer to home even though he doesn't go up for parole until Dec. we are keeping our fingers crossed that everything will be okay. It gets harder and harder to leave everytime especially since hopefully this will be the last year we'll be without him. Gotta love him. well HEEYY to everyone! I see I got some catching up to do. But first..I GOT TO SEE MY SWEETIE! some of yall (jackie, steph, jeanne) knew I was buggin cuz of him actin like...well..WHOA! so I went up there yesterday and slapped him around. naw, for real I had to see if he was alright, plus I needed some tongue love. he came out (I woke him up ) and of course I was rollin my eyes talkin bout why the hell he wouldnt write me. he knew what was up cuz i was mad. poor guy I made him feel super guilty. He apologized so many times and explained a lot of stuff...so it was good. AWWW I love him. I told him to never do that again cuz it would be something serious. we talked a lot about his homecoming...I was gettin super excited! now, I'm back at school, we start classes on wednesday and I'm NOT ready! :shake: ahh well...

Hey ladies! Well...the man called like 4 time tonight We went AT IT (or well, I bugged out!!!)....then we got past it...and we talked about some stuff that he keeps puttin' me threw. Thanks for the support girls. I know it will work out eventually. We've decided to cut down on our visits and phone calls so that all that money can be put away. I never really realized how much I was spending a month on him between the phone calls, visits, and money in his account. We figured it out last night and its over 500 a month. Hope everyones weeks are starting off good. My has kinda sucked. My mom called from Florida to let me know my Dad has a cancerous tumor on his kidney. It has to come out, but because of his several other health issues they are not sure they can operate safely. (his diabetic, has had two strokes, one of which left his right side paralyzed, and he is on blood thinning medication).

So that's what has been going on here. Tomorrow I'll get to talk to my hubby and that'll make things alittle better. Just hearing his voice always lifts my spirits.

Now on to you girls. If I forget anyone I'm sorry. And to every one who's loved ones are coming home this week, I'm doing a happy dance here for you. Congratulations.

Kimmy - WOW less than 24hrs. The only help I can offer is to take deep breaths and enjoy. I'm soo happy for you.

Jen - Enjoy the relaxing evening. Thanks for the siggy. It truely is our year.

AmynBay - Welcome to PTO. You'll find alot of support and info to help you along this journey. Sorry I don't have any info for you. Maybe you could post over in the Texas forum and someone over there has some info for you.

Steph - Sorry about your visit, but I'm sure you'll get through it. Just try to relax and have faith in the love that you two have and it will all be fine.

Jeanne - Hope your feeling better. March will be here before you know it. And you'll be one step closer to getting him home for good. Congrats to T on his Private First Class thats awesome, more kids need to follow that program.

Brandi - Congrats on the new job and closing on the house. hope your move goes smoothly.

Tina - Happy to hear you had a nice visit. I bet you made his whole month with that visit. I know about the long drives with kids, I do it every month. I use to drive 5 hrs for 30mins behind the glass, but now we get 3 1/2, still not great but so worth the drive.

Jackie - Sorry about the visit and the calls. I really believe that all men go through PMS the same as we do, but they'll never admit it. Add to that the nervousness with the date approaching, and testosterone (sp) and wham, that's what you get.

Sel - Tell those butterflies to clam down if that's possible.

Marj - So glad you got to see your man. Nothing like a good guilty trip to put things in perspective for them. Back to the hitting the books tomorrow, you'll do fine.

Wills - Congrats on 6 months. Here's to hoping the next ten fly on by too.

Sherry - It'll all work out girl. you have a plan now and you both are on board with it, hey, that's half the battle. I have faith that you can do it. And congrats on the Oct wedding.
