Thanks 4 allowing me 2 join....Yes it is hard 2 2 maintain a realtionship w/a lifer, but we r now engaged...no date yet...I focus not so much on the rest of his life behind bars, but out of town on business...The letters/calls brings closeness. LOVe the visits...Love has no barriers.....

mykygal, that makes you #15, I totally understand that wanting it to finally be over with, I think we can all identify with that.

Faithfully here...I love the way you think...I tend to do the same thing, it's more like, he's overseas in the military or away for work or something, we visit and talk and write letters often and stay close so it helps but it will be so wonderful the day he walks out those doors and into my arms.

Welcome BabyBlue_Eyez, you are indeed #17. I hope your man will be home soon too, I know it's hard. For us we are still waiting to see when he will be brought up for parole again, our waiting could be anywhere between 1 year to 14 years but however long it takes, I'm going to be here waiting for him.
