I have a loved one in NCC. He gets out in 6 years. My trip only takes about 2 hrs. so it's not to bad. Just want him to come home sooner than later!

I'm excitred about this site. It seems to be helpful already!

My sweetie is in Coffeewood CC. I have no idea how the system is in VA but I hope and pray that he's ok and his out date is 1 year away. If anyone has information on this place please PM me.

I have one son at cold spgs in greenville and anouther son at keene mountain in grundy. I get to go for scenic drives to see mine LOL

My husband (soon to be) is at Nottoway Correctional Center ...he gets out in 15 years (hopefully sooner).

My loved one is in Lawrenceville Correctional Center...does anyone have good info about that prison? I have been to visit a few times.

My Husband is at Augusta Correctional Center in Craigsville Va he is 2hours and 30minutes away ..i still go every weekend. Even the weekend I have to work..i get up at 4am leave by 5:30 get there by 8 and leave at 12 so i can make it to work by 2pm. Next year they are changing Augusta from a 2,3 level prison to a 4 level so My Hubby will have to be transferred to another facility..i hope its not 4 or 6hrs away. Ill only be able to see him everyother weekend.

Hubby was at Augusta until Dec 2006. It was a long drive for me too.
I hear ya about the drive. More than once hubby has been 4 hrs one way. I would have to get up at 2 am and leave at 4 to make first group.

One of the worst jails and the most corrupt county ever

I wish he would have gotten into the dumb trouble he got into in any other county, do not get in trouble in this county so you wont have to go to this dirty corrupt jail. They make prisoners eat roach filled leftovers and also sleep on cold floors without blankets and they listen in on private phone calls.

I cant do anything for fear of him getting more time, we have kids and I have Cancer and its breaking my heart! And I have no friends or family I can talk to about him even being in there

Nor can I find a prison advocate, did they all disappear?

my husband is at pococahontas the gaurds are nice to the visitors, and the place is very clean not much inmate trouble at this place, no fights and stuff like that. its a very strick place they run it like its level 5 even though its a 3 so tell him he needs to fly under radar with some of the the gaurds they like to write you up for stupid stuff and if they think you are a trouble maker they will write you up and transfer you to a higher level. most inmates dont like it there as they run a tight ship, and they as inmates have very little to do no organized sports and not much rec. time, so time goes slow. the area is very rural not much for a visitor to do in the town of bluefield this is the nearest hotels you can visit both sat and sun let me know what other ? you have, and if you ever just want to talk im here.
