INshallah me too. I'm on Juz 2 and trying to read 1 Juz a day and inshallah 2 towards the end of ramadan. Its hard sometimes being at work and suppose to "appear to be doing work"

Asalamalaykum sisters

I have not started reading yet. I have been so tired lately and I am trying not to sleep too much. Sleep is a pleasure to me. I am making ramadan ok, for a beginner. I have not been able to go to masque often because I have no gas in my car until Friday. Inshalla I wll go more after payday. Pray for my attempt, that I can be pleasing to Allah. That is what I want.

wHY at the end of ramadhan? why not now? so that u can get the full benefits and reward of this ramadhan? i dnt mean to scare you but if u already made up ur mind, why not straight away? no ones life is guaranteed till the end of ramadhan!.
Please do not delay sistah! u will be rewarded greatly for all of ur efforts, inshallah.

I want to be at my cleanest an most purist in my heart, mind ,body and spirit. I want to complete this fast to show Allah how sincere I am to Him and Him alone. If I can complete this fast for Him, it will give me a stronger desire for servitude to him. Then being allowed to make shahada will be my reward. Inshala, I will make my commitment to him at the end of ramadan.

I HOPE everyone is doin okay?....whenever u's lot have time, we could all learn the deen together, i bought this game last yr ramadhan but didnt touch it...its called, the Quran challenge!....its like snake and ladder! its jus asking u islamic question, testion ur knowledge etc...
i have done a few but most i got wrong, so we could all learn together!. i have the answers tho..to help..

1) whats the meaning of Al-Fatiha?..i know that
2) Which prophet is known as Dhabi Allah? i dnt know
3) who bought prophet Yusuf in egypt? not too sure, i know but dnt know his name.
4) for how many years did the promise land remain out of reach of the children of Isreal? dnt know
5) who is entitled to alms? i know that..not all but i know a few..
6) what is the meaning of Al-Rafi? dnt know...

Inshallah i have got over 2000 questions like this.....so we shall learn together...i know we wnt know most but we will learn thru this. so next time someone askes us, we will know..inshallah.

It has been a wonderful ramadan so far, except today I am sick. My son said sickness will excuse me until I get better and then I can make it up, but I don't want to be excused, I will continue making ramadan.

As salaam Alaikum Sisters,

My fiance is having problems during Ramadan..his name was somehow not on the list for Ramadan therefore they bring his tray as usual and when he doesnt eat it they take it away..Well when it time for him to eat they dont bring him anything...He cant just starve..Is there somewhere it states he can break his fast due to this?..I cant find anything...he should have been on the list he's been muslim 23 years and in prison 10...he;s always been on the list. Ive called the prison and gotten a million different stories why he isnt on the list.

Islam is not a hardship. In cases where you cannot make fast, like in sickness, or when traveling and you need your strength, the Quran tells us we can break fast, but we will be wise to make it up at another time. Allah knows his heart and knows he really has no choice under the circumstances.

I have been sick the past week and was told I could break fast for my health. I choose not to but I have a choice. Tell him Allah knows his heart and he can do ramadan for Allah when he is able to.

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT WHY RAMADHAN IS CALLED RAMADHAN?
ramadhan in arabic is a five letter word so that means
RA= the letter raa'
MA= the letter meem
DH= the letter dhaa'
A= the letter alif
N= the letter noon
okies you got that...then move on
this is amazing each letter stands for sumit...
RA stands for rahma= mercy
MA stands maghfirrah=forgiveness
DH stands for dhaman min alnar=protection from hell
A stands for amaaan=SAFETY
N= stands for noor which you all probly know is light

I know he said he's been reading "juices" from the Koran.
