Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hi,
I am new to this forum and posted several hours ago, but it came up "locked" (not sure what that means, but it can't be good).
Anyways, I want to know if I write an inmate at MCI-Plymouth, without an inmate number, will he receive it? I have no other info except that he is in that facility on amn INS violation. He is a dear friend and I truly want to help him!! IE Canteen, stamps, paper etc. I just want to be able to hear from him!
I have checked the VINE and he is not listed.
If I direct his mail to his name in care of the facility, will he receive it??

Have you tried calling there? call them and first ask if he is there, and then if he is ask for his number..
I am one who never used inmate numbers.. it always seemed to get to "Tom Jones">>>> sooooo with that GOOD LUCK

I have done that before on accident to my man and he did recieve it, but if there is another inmate with the same name then they will probably return it to you.

If he is in the DOC he should have an inmate number, have you looked up his name on vinelink? THey will provide you with his inmate ID.
