And keep you all posted. I believe the last time I posted I was down to 151, I would say I am up to 155-160 again. Yikes!!!! Good Job everyone.

I need to lose umm well keep it small for now 20lbs......but only 10 at a time.

Can I join? I have had a weight problem all of my life. My heavist was about 2 yrs. ago. Which was 240. I'm now about 210, 5'4", this week I'll be 40. I did join a gym about 6 months ago but I haven't been there in months. For my birthday I bought one of those Tony Little gazelle's (sp?). I tried to put it together but they didn't sent all of the parts so I'm waiting for them to come.
Oh... the largest size I have been was 22.... now I'm a 18W.

That is great! I'll take a loss any way I can get it! The way I see it is like this ~ A slow loss is a forever loss! The slower we lose the weight the more apt it is to stay off! Good job!

hey ladies! i posted months ago but haven't been back. I work sooo much. I can't do weigh ins on Thursday cause i'm not home much but i wanted to check in and say hi and to tell everyone keep working at this weight loss stuff ! I was 241 the end of march I'm down to 223 now woohoo!

I was doing curves but the hours wont work since i work so much (plus i got bored) so i've been doing tab-bo for a week now and it's wonderful. I'll pop in when i can and congrats to all who are working to be healthier.

I've found that making your own fruit smoothies for breakfast is very low in calories and healthy and fulfilling..just letting yall know incase yu wanna try it

getting there,
amber

Please don't give up ILWD! You are so worth it!!! Getting healthy is the most selfish and rewarding thing we can do for ourselves. Just take a break but don't quit!

Hi. My man still has a little over 4 1/2 years left so i have no excuse not to look DAMN good when he gets home. He is in VA and I am in OK, and I haven't told him that I am doing this. I don't see him often so the next time I see him I want his jaw to drop.

Current weight - 264 (6/23/06)
First Goal - 244
Final Goal - 175 ( I used to look real good at 175, no matter what those charts say i should weigh)
Diet: 800 cal low fat diet
Exercise: I am getting an eliptical machine this weekend, now I just chase my 10 month old around the house.

Thanks for having this....teamwork is key

I just weighed in at 231 lbs which is a drop for me but I can't see it. I don't feel smaller and I can't see my clothes fitting differently either. Am I doing something wrong?

Welcome!

I do have one comment about your plan. I have always been told that eating less than 1,000 calories a day is not very healthy. Is the plan you are following prescribed by a doctor?

We all want to be thin but we have to remember to do it the healthy way and that we can't lose it all overnight because we didn't gain the weight overnight.

Just my !

Good luck!
Ronnie

Are you exercising also or just eating better? The reason I ask is because exercise helps you to tone up the excess fat and skin so if you aren't exercising you will see the pounds come off but your body isn't toning up as fast so the difference in clothes/dress sizes will not be as visible as fast.

Well I finally got the motivation to get on a program and stick with it, under the guidance of a nutritionist.

SW- 6/15/06 250
CW- 6/28/06 239
GW-170-180
Exercise- walking 3-4.5 miles 3-4x a week, and soon gonna start dancing like Beyonce in my living room..lol.

Stopped eating after 8pm. Cut out a lot of carbs. If I eat carbs, I eat them for lunch. Lots of water.

My starting weight 229
Goal 150
Do you ladies have any suggestions such as walking, eating, anything. I found out that I have high blood pressure.. I have to get my weight under control. By the way, my husband doesn't know how much I weigh. He knows that I've gained weight and hasn't said anything about it. Guess he know how sensitive I am. I've gained about 40 lbs.

Welcome!

I suffer from high blood pressure too. Any sort of aerobic exercise you can do such as walking will help lower your pressure. In regard to eating I do WW but there are so many options out there. Do you have any food preferences or restrictions? Check out the support group thread because we give one another tips and ideas constantly.

Thanks Ronnie,

Yes I am on a medical weight loss plan. I know that I cn do it without medical intervention, but I am just at a lazy phase in my life. So I figure as long as it gets done who cares how I get there. My husband doesn't know that I am doing this, boy will he be surprised when I go visit in a couple of months.

Keep up the good work girls....I be back after I weigh in at lunch.
