Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Huntsville, Texas question

My husband is coming home February 2007 after 11 long years. Does he get to call and confirm this? Or on the day he is set to be released I should just be waiting outside? I have heard different answers to what time release begins. Can someone educate me on these questions.

adamlee'sgirl...i havent got an answer for you, but i just wanted to say congratulations on your man's homecoming....i think that is absolutely wonderful!!! LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not really sure, as I live in California, and don't know if all the prison systems are the same. My fiance asked me to call and try to find out his release date, because he didn't know it. Records won't give the information to you, I had to call his counselor, and got the information that way. At SQ (San Quentin) R&R (Recieving and Release) handles the information about what time your loved one is being released.I have to call there on the 6th or the 7th, to find out if it is going to be in the morning or evening. Hopefully, they are correct in the time that they give me. Some of the inmates all ready know,the time that they are being released, and tell their wives, fiance's, and girlfriends.
