Default well more bad news!

Need a soft shoulder to lay my weary head down and warm kind words said. Got a call about 1:30 am oldest son got arrested for a theft of property warrant while he was living high off of meth....he had barely been
out of my sight since we got him out of jail for drug possession back about 2 months ago. He was to go get brakes put on my car and this is what has happen he didn't come back home like he was supposed too quess he
went to get him some meth...since he had gotten his disability check....
so between this and drug possession charge in Lamar County and the tough judges they have I figure he will get some time out of this so now
I will visit another prison somewhere........what has happen I tired so hard
to raise my sons right but drugs took over their life and has caused so much heartaches in my family. My other son is still doing good at St.Clair
and hopefully he will be finished sometime in July with his relase program and what is next I don't know...just living one day at a time with little hope.....Thanks to all who sends kind words..........mother1952

This must be so hard for you. I am sure you are a brilliant mum but sometimes they just have to learn by their own mistakes. All you can do is stay strong and be there for him. Dont give up hope.
I am thinking of you

Hugs. Hang in there Mama, drugs are unfortunately cutting a wide swath through this country right now and some very decent people are getting caught up in them or the other side effects of the war on them.

Poor Mom! Drugs are everywhere, and it takes more, apparently, than good parenting to be resistant to them. No-one in my family drank, but my littlest brother was an alcoholic . . . .
Take a deep breath, and just hang in there.
Peace.

Don't be hard on yourself, you can't control what your loved ones chose to do and it's not your fault. Never give up hope on them miracles do happen and I pray your sons will see what a special Mom they have in you. Alot of people wish they had that kind of support behind them. Don't give up living your own life even if you have to live it one day at a time. Be good to yourself first because you deserve it.
As hard as it is to think maybe some time will save his life and and give him a clear head to think about things he needs to fix in his life and to see what he's doing to his family. If my son had not got prison time I really don't think he would be with us today and that's the way I have to look at, we are very fortunate to have him still with us and I thank the good Lord for giving him another chance at life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Lace is right. I have heard inmates say that prison saved their lives because if they had stayed on the street, they would have gotten killed. Try to look at this as something good can come from it. Your heart hurts now, but in time it will heal. God knows the outcome of everything. He loves you and He loves your son. Just keep praying for your son. If he goes to prison, perphaps it will cause him to realize he does not want to sprend his life this way and he will seek Jesus, who can break any hold that the drugs have on him. And if by chance he does go to prison, hopefully he will still seek Jesus and be made free from the prison that the drugs have created for him on this side of those other prisons. Also, a child, regardless of how much we love them, have free choice and it is not your fault--so stop beating yourself up over it. Live today, be good to yourself, and belive there will be better days. Never give up, always believe God has something good coming your way. Keep praying regardless how many times the devil says it won't do any good. He tells us all that all the time because he does not want us to keep praying to God in Jesus's name.

I want to thank each one for everything that was said help me out alot. What is so
hard it the fact that I have my youngest one at St.Clair and now the oldest one has done things that will cause him to end up in a correctional facility somewhere.
The oldest one has 2 children and is on disability and I have helped them out alot giving money and especially buying the grandchildren clothes and now I can't work due to back problems. All these problems have really taken caused me to be very
depressed in which I know I need to go seek some help from somewhere. I must try very hard to accept things and realize that is a reason for all of this to have happen and that only God will get us thru this. Yes, it is better for both of them to be where they are at for maybe a lesson will be learned. God Bless All..mother1952

I raised two boys who are now men and I don't think there is an answer as to how to keep them out of trouble. I have been lucky because their legal problems have been small, but I chalk that up to luck and not to anything I may have done right. I am so sorry you are going through this and you will be in my prayers.
