Hey Ladies!!! Thanks for all the advice. I took a time out, went to the community pool (never been there without the kids ) swam, read my book and just relaxed. I didn't even think about it. I know that he's a good man, and he's just trying to do the right thing by everyone. When I went up to visit last weekend I told him, if my son's father wants to do right or whatever it has to be my son's choice (he's 11) if he wants to see him or have him in his life. Basically, this is for my relationship with my son and any that Ad would have. If we take his father away then we come out the bad ones, but my son is no dumbie, he knows whose been there and who hasn't ya know.

I would run down there and visit, but I can't afford to this week which sucks , but he needs to come to terms with this. I'm not going anywhere anyways.

Lana - I am sooo sorry that you got a letter, especially one that started like that. He must be trippin' I would have slapped him because my mind would already have been thinking the worst!! Ad just got in trouble for the same thing. He had his mom send a MO to his 'homie' and he got his phone taken away for 60 days. He still hustles it though. A minute here or there. It sucks. I know it's not any comfort, but I think a man sometimes does better with seperating different parts of their lives. By having the wine, he didn't think it would affect you, ya know. Yeah stupidity... but then again he is a man

Hey girls...so many posts to catch up on!! I got onto one of my neighbors networks and now I am back and rolling!! I am soooooooooooo busy with packing I just wanted to come in and say hi to my fav fed ladies and tell u all who r having visits to have a great one, mine is next MONDAY YIPPEEE!!! ((((((((Lana)))))))) I was thinking about you the whole drive home....yup I left work early for my own mental health LOL. All I kept thinking is that I would hurt my man for having "hooch" in his locker. And for starting the letter like that his head would roll. Like someone said, men think they can get away with sh*t but they can't and that's why they are in prison in the first place. I can't stand it. I get annoyed when I know my man has reused stamps. But the only way they learn is to get busted. I know they've been busted already because they are locked up but sometimes that first one isn't enough. It seems as though him getting busted now, so close to coming home, over something sooooo STUPID, that it has finally sunk in that he can't get away with everything just cause his being selfish and only thinking of himself. He can't even think for himself because if he did he'd want to stay out of trouble. And girl I feel you, if they try to continue to get away with sh*t in prison what will make them change when they come home. Girl I am so all over that! I just asked my friend that and he said he won't do the same things because he won't have to survive prison anymore. He said inside you go with the flow of traffic or you will get run over, or some crap like that. 3 months is 3 months, my man just went to the hole for a quick minute and he ends up having to do an additional 2 months because of their screw up and to me it feels like years! Is it too much to ask of them for them to walk the line and get it done right????? I'm mad for you right now girl. I'm not here to tell you how to handle the situation, I'm just stating how I feel about the subject.

BUT I do have to say that it seems that going to the hole put a new found fear in my man and he sees that you can't get away with crap and hopefully that has finally sunk in with your man as well. I think it has because he is admitting his fault and see what he needs to change. Now he has 3 extra months to get it right!!!

I got a letter....I'm pretty confused by this one myself....he told me not to talk about his coming home! Ok....ummmmm....WTF? How can I not talk about that when it's all I think about. Whatever, he thinks it will cause trouble...I think he finally realizes that they read their mail and that they watch you closely especially when you are in rdap but to not talk about his release????? Whatever. We did have a mind reading moment though. On Monday I updated him on a friend that we have not talked about it a very long time. So I updated him without him asking, I don't know why, I just did. So in his letter he said I read his mind! He'd been thinking about his boy and I told him before he had to ask. Still I don't get him!!! Ok, I've typed enough.......

Homie...Nana is doing good, it's strange it's like you almost think she is getting better. I'm trying to be real and not get a sense of hope because I feel when I do that she will take a turn for the worst. I don't know, it's real strange. To those visiting this weekend have a great one and a safe drive getting there.

For me all is moving along. Hubby now has two weeks of work under his belt. Which means he is at the place he needs to be in order to get his two 12 hr passes home on the weekend. BUT, the place is short handed, ARRGGGG and they haven't done the home inspection yet. Never mind that the PO has done a home inspection twice, the hwh does their own as well. That's another note to file away ladies.

One of the ladies did say to me she would try to get out here tomorrow to do it, to help out since they are so short handed. That way he could at least get the 12 hr on Sunday. BUT I'm not holding my breath over it, that way if it doesn't happen, I won't be so disappointed. If not, I pray they come out during the upcoming week so that next weekend will be a for sure.

Keep hanging tough fedwifeys and know your time is coming as well.

Well, the last time I posted I had sent my sweetheart some sexy pics for his birthday. He received them on Monday. He wrote me and told me that he loved them, very much. He was quite surprised because I had told him that I had changed my mind about sending them. But I did and he said that I am so beautiful to him and his birthday was so special!!! He also, let me know that even if I would'nt have sent the pics he would have understood. He said that our love transcends pictures. Anyway, I'm glad he had a terrific birthday and I feel good about sending him the pics because it made his day even more special. Thanks to those who encouraged me to send the pictures when I was very self conscience about how I would look. Keep the faith everybody and be blessed.
