Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Default Elements of CA Crimes and Defenses (Link)
This is a link to Cal Crim; the new jury instructions used in the vast majority of CA courts. You will find the elements that the DA needs to prove for most CA crimes; as well as what has to shown to prove various defenses. These instructions include what evidence is sufficient to support a conviction. Each instruction is followed by "use notes" that further explain the law in that area; as well as additional citations for follow up research. Indexs help you locate crimes based on type.
It's more than 2000 pages long, in Adobe format, and takes a minute to load.

Perhaps this could be included in the closed "Sticky" above titled "Elements of Crimes" (that presently has a link to CalCrim Jury Instructions).
