Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Hi! I just found this site tonight while reading comments on another forum for the correctional side - interesting how that happens sometimes. My boyfriend is doing a life sentence in Maryland and has already been in for 27 years. We've been together for 9 years. I met him quite accidentally and will talk about that later. I'm very interested in learning all about this website and hoping to get some answers as well as offer my support to others. Nice to know there are others out there for feedback and support. Dee

Carole/Valerie,
My loved one is also at RCI. We are counting the days until he comes home. Parole won't be til 2008 (hopefully), but we talk frequently and write as much as possible. It is very hard, but i make sure that he knows each day is one day closer to us being together again. I don't count how far away his release is, i count how many days go by and bring this process to an end. ANY amount of time would seem like forever when you are separated from those you love. Stay strong and know that you are NOT alone.
