Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Question Intro--ZoeGirl from Colorado
Hi! I'm new to this website. I have a man I'm deeply in love with in prison in FCI RayBrook in New York, who has probably just 1 year left to go (he's been there 10 years). My ex-husband just got sentenced to 5 years in Oklahoma (he's still in county right now). I live in Colorado.
My ex gripes and complains because he wants me to send more money to him, but I'm here being a single mom raising his two kids, working and going to school. On the other hand my man in New York sends ME things...books, letters, cards, whatever he can, and NEVER asks for anything from me. Should I feel obligated to send at least some money to my ex-husband just because I am the only family he has? Should I just tell him that I'm in love and can't put myself through the emotional drain of trying to be there for HIM too?! Have I traded him out in a way? Is this wrong?

I need advice and opinions!

Hi and welcome to PTO... I'm glad you found us... Only you can decide what's best for you... You might want to check out the husbands and boyfriends forum on PTO though as members have posted these sort of scenerios in the past and gotten a lot of feedback... ((hugs))
