Default Need some good ideas, please

One of my relatives may be missing. Well it sounds a bit weird but he tends to take some walkabouts every now and then, but this time we haven't gotten words in a very long time that causes us to be concerned. I have tried the lost in the system section as there is a warrant of for his arrest dated back in 05, circulated his photo at myspace etc etc. He is as well diagnosed with Hep. C.
Any good ideas folks?

Well, Aya, S'tar, for now all I can come up with is prayer...but I will ponder it and get back to you later, as I am on my way out the door...

YOu didn't say where your relative is from...If you want, PM me the information, maybe with a pic and I would be happy to send it on to any contacts I have in the area, If he's where you at, I do have some contacts there, good ones that get around...

I,m figuring, with a warrant you my not want to go the missing persons route, and I hate to even mention this but have you contacted shelters, hospitals, and the like?

Now I REALLY have to run...

Praying for his safe Return, cyndi

If you think you know the general community he's in, I'd start looking in the places homeless people hang out to get a good meal or just to get warm & comfortable for a bit. In my community that would be places like: soup kitchens, shelters, public libraries, certain public parks and beaches, under certain bridges, cemetaries, public museums (especially on no-admission days), local mass transit (pay once and ride all day for free). The employees of those places may not be able to tell you much because of confidentiality, but other regular visitors might recognize a photo of him and give you a lead. If his walk-abouts have taken him outside the area before, I'd check with people at the train stations or cross-country bus station (like Greyhound). And as Wingy said, try hospitals and emergency clinics in case he got into a minor scuffle or something. Hope he's safe.

Aya, don't give up hope! Just as I was finishing this note, I got a call from someone I know who has Hep C and was missing for weeks. You'll find your loved one, too.

Thanx a lot for all your good ideas. He got a warrant out for him so he is not around where he use to be - that is a part of the problem.
