Thanks for all the prayers for me and my family. Heaven knows we can always use them....i am glad to hear everyone is well....

Cathy, i wanted to say that you need to keep your faith in your lord and in your fiance. It is hard being so far from your loved one... i know because for years i lived 2000 miles from my husband and just recently moved to cali to be closer to him. the devil doesnt want us to find happiness so he will attack at every gate. Rebuff him cathy and tell him that you are happy and that you know the lord will take care of everything for you and your fiance. Be strong in your faith and the lord will lead you in the right direction. I promise.

To all of you... i ask for the lord to bless each and every one of you and prepare you for the lord to send all of our loved ones home....

Hi everyone. Welcome all newbies. We need you all. I am home from Jamaica, and while there had terrible boils break out all over my body as I am cleansing. So I am in pain a lot. I can only come and ask for prayer. I hope to be well enough to see Charlie this weekend. I am just not sure if I can. The trip was good- trained a lot of people there. But I found two nurses who worked under very adverse circumstances to help me with the boils. There is no hot water, no lots of things.It is a mission base. But God was with me. I just got checked by the nurse working with me here, and she has given a course of action that should help. More than anything I need prayer for all of this. I am tired of being tired. Ladies, I pray for all of you as I read your posts. Know that you are being lifted. I claim the power of the one true living God over all our troubles.
Please continue to pray for my husband as he has unfounded doubts about me and our relationship. He has even written our children and family members expressing this doubt. I rebuke the the attacks of the enemy and pray that my family will be shielded by the blood of our precious savior, in whom we trust. My pastors wife has agreed to help me travel to see my husband on April 19 as the trip is so long. Please be in prayer for that trip and that it will be a renewing of his trust and faith. Most of all pray for God's intervention where he is and that He will send someone to mentor and uplift him. Thank you all SO much for being there. God is an awesome God and I claim His peace and joy. Hi there!!! I'm doing okay... a few ups & downs today! Fiance called so that was a good way to start my day.... but then the Chaplain called me today to ask a question. Upon finding out that we are MWI - he said he "doesn't do those types of weddings". He only does the ones where the people knew one another before the incarceration! Blah. What does it matter either way?? But it's UP to him, I guess. So now I am ON a mission to find a wedding officiant/minister for our wedding! If you know of any good sites or of anyone in the Eastern NC area - let me know! In the meantime, please just keep me in your prayers.

I was having a little pain today but it didn't last long. However, every time I have it - I'm reminded that I'm taking a huge risk by postponing my surgery. Please keep me in your prayers... so that I can get married, then get the surgery before the pain really hits me!

Cathy, I'll contine to pray for you and your husband. GOD will help him see the truth soon enough. I'll remember you! Hang in there.

Kay, very sorry to hear about the breakout of boils. I know one is NOT fun so I can't imagine having several. God will heal you!!! I hope you can visit this weekend too. Take care of yourself and get some rest!

Glad you're feeling better, LadyChamp - God will always take care of us. I'm so THANKFUL for that. It's amazing how THINKING positively and turning things over to God and putting TRUST in Him can change how you feel so quickly. TODAY I was upset after hearing from the Chaplain and went to vent to a friend up front ( I was still at work ). Well, all she had to say was "Don't get married then. It's a sign!" - I mean - come ON!!! Even people out in the free world run into hiccups and even BIG problems, but you don't give UP on someone you love or give up on a goal that will benefit you both! Anyhow - I had to really turn it over to God after that statement. I walked away too so I wouldn't say anything impolite to her!

Wife C - hang in there. Lots of days come and go when we feel down, but think positive and your MOOD can change. You have to want it to though! God is always there when you need someone to lean on. (So are we!)

Dear Heavenly father,

I come to you this morning with a thankful heart for allowing me to wake to another beautiful day you have laid before me.
Lord, i ask that you be with my prayer sister Caroline. allow her to find a new better job than the one she was laid off from... I know you will provide her what she truly needs.
Lord, i ask that you be with kay and renew her body so she no longer feels tired or has to deal with the boils.

Lord, i come asking you to please be with my husband at solano. There is much evil there and he is trying to fight off the attacks. However they have been attacked so much recently and although i know his faith is strong, i also know he is down. Be with all the men in solano lord and allow them to fight off the evil attacks and walk in your will for their lives. Allow this lockdown to finally end and renew our mens souls with a renewed hope for their lives as many of them are very downtrodden. Lord, allow those in charge of these men to see the light and your will rather than greed and the evil that attacks those who they follow.

Lord, be with deidra as she awaits the return of harold to her home and give them your wonderful grace to help them with all those things that will be new to them.

I just got word that my fiance has been put in the hole. I'm very upset. He NEVER gets into trouble, so he was either standing up for something he believed was right, or is in some sort of danger. I'm really upset. Have I not been praying enough? Why is this happening? I feel this pain in my heart. We need each other right now, and the hole only makes both our lives harder. The way the message was relayed sounded like he may be there through the summer. I know I need to give this to God because I can't do anything about it...but I'm upset. If he could talk to me and tell me what has happened, how he is handling it, and what will happen next then I'd be okay, but I'm not sure if he is allowed to call, and if he is you know he can't really discuss details over the phone about it. Yuck. I'm REALLY down.

Hello Ladies~!

It's been quite some time since I've posted, but I have some news for you all! I went to visit Jason last weekend in FL. It took me 8 hours to drive there. I left after work around 6 pm and didn't get to my hotel until 2 am!! I spent Sat. and Sun. with him at visitation. It was both one of the happiest moments of my life and also the saddest (at the end). I had to leave him there and drive 8 hours home and I wasn't able to think of anything except our visit. At the begining of the week I felt so depressed. I couldn't sleep, I Couldn't eat, I couldn't even concentrate at work. I just miss him so.

I've also been thinking a lot lately about how or where he is going to get a job when he is released. I've found that it's very difficult for anyone with a felony to get a job once they're released. Any suggestions on this ladies? My heart is aching and I can't seem to mend it. It's aching for Jason and he can't be with me right now. I do have the pictures, but somtimes that just makes it harder. I miss him so. He has about 4 1/2 years left to do and I have been doubting myself a lot lately. Today is not so bad. I just need to be reminded to take it one day at a time. When i think about the magnitude of 4 1/2 years it scares me somtimes. Other times, it doesn't seem so bad. I just try to put it in perspective.

The parole board is still investigating his case and could potentially give him a full pardon. Please ladies, lift your voices. Ask the lord almighty for a miracle for my baby and I. Satan has been attacking my mind lately and has been stressing me out. I demanded that he leave me today and I have had soemwhat of a better day. i still miss Jason with my entire heart. I'm just hoping that with all the prayers that are consistently going up for us that Jesus will continue to send his blessings. Please pray for Jason and I and also please pray that the lord will give me strength. I have to be strong for both of us. I'm particularly worried about where he is going to work when he is released, but my mother told me that the bible says we should not pay interest on things that have yet to happen. Worry about tomorrows problems tomorrow, and concentrate on todays problems today. I've found, its easier said than done.

Regardless, please keep on praying for Jason and I. I need the lord now more than ever. I will continue to do the same for all my wonderful ladies here on PTO. God Bless and I hope each of you is having a glorious and blessed week.

Lisa, I don't really have any answers to questions. Just some thoughts on what I've learned. It is so very hard to NOT know what's going on.
The lack of adequate communication wears on our spirits. But God teaches me daily to "wait" upon Him. I try so very hard to make things right myself. To handle all things alone. I take back what I have already given to the Lord. When I do that, I am smashed, broken to pieces like the clay in Isaiah 30. He tells me (and I am so stubborn, I keep forgeting and He has to tell me again) Isaiah 30:15b "in quietness and confidence is your strength." I pray for you, as I pray for myself, to trust that God is God, He is who He says He is, and therefore, all things are in His hands. I must learn each day anew how to leave my husband at the foot of the cross, because I can't carry him, but Jesus does.

Father, be with these two while they are apart. Please take care of this man where he is and let him know that even in the darkness, You are there. Bring quiet comfort to this dear lady who loves him so. Thank you Father for her faith, please strengthen it. May your peace, that the world cannot understand be with them both. Take care of him, and bring him home as soon as Your will allows. Amen
