Hey Caroline! I'm a "phone person" too... though if you get me started, you may wish you hadn't. My co-workers at work always tell the new girls that it took them THREE full months to get me to speak to them and another month to get me to SPEAK up b/c I was pretty shy.... then they follow up with "now we can't get HER to SHUT UP!" - ha! I'll PM ya later & I'll be back to post later. I want to call my minister but it's noon in NC and I don't want to interupt lunch or anything. Chris woke me up TOO early (not that I mind all that much!!!) and I'm sleepy.... so I'm off for a nap, then prayer then calling the minister!

Lord, I pray that you provide me with patience and understanding.

Ladies - I am not sure where to begin. I found out today through my cousin who is temporarily living with my dad - that my dad got married Thursday. He and his (now) wife were married at 4 pm at the JP. Now, I knew they were engaged so it's not a shock that they got hitched. What troubles me is - I thought dad and I had a good relationship but they fail to tell me? Isn't getting married usually a big deal? The worst part is I talked to him on the phone Wednesday night and I was at THEIR home on Thursday night, neither of them said a word about it. Seems like one of them could've said "guess what? we got married today!". I'm not saying they had to ask permission from me BUT goodness... what's the big secret? I'm not sure how I feel about it. I can guarantee you that my older brother and HER 2 daughters knew so what's wrong w/ telling me? It's like I'm the "outcast" or something and I do not deserve to know these things??? I'm just really confused and a bit upset. Maybe I'm being a brat about it all - but it's not like they bought a new car and didn't tell me - THEY GOT MARRIED?! and failed to mention it?! And it's not even 2 days after they are married and dad's complaining (bad) about her. Here's a lil' history - they were married many years ago - she is wife 2 and wife 4 now. So if it didn't work before, what makes them think it'll work now? Pray for me. I really do not want to say something I'll regret later to any of them, but I am a bit irritated! I'll try to calm down and pray about it though, first. Take care all.

First giving God glory for this new day I was blessed with! The sun is shining, no rain clouds, it's about 65 degrees outside so far...It's just a beautiful blessed day! I am at work again of course. I was able to finally get to my Friday service the other day. It was such a blessing! I didn't truly realize how much the absence of fellowship was affecting my life. I was so filled and glad to be a part of it all. Of course I renewed my membership!!! My pastor was so happy to see me, because at one point, up until about 2 years ago, I was so active in my church. I just missed being in the house of God and i would never stay away that long again.

Welcome to our newest sister, Susan. I pray that God would touch your heart and mind and bring peace to you and your husband. God is good and he is working everything out for our good.

My Pastor was preaching on the word Faith. The sermon was so awesome. I truly felt like he was talking to me. (Not to mention the fact that he kept looking at me and standing by me!) But he pointed out some key things that truly stood out and made sense of the situation that Sincere and I are in. He was coming from the book of Job 13:15 "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him." He was talking about how the devil sent "messengers" to bring Job bad news in order to cause him to curse God and to not trust in him anymore. He does the same things to us by sending us bad news regarding our loved ones. By sending us all types of "messages" that don't align with God's plan he causes us to focus on the problem, instead of the problem solver. That's the only true way he can attack us is in our minds. Have you ever heard a word from God and know that it was God speaking to you and giving you direction? And as soon as you turn around there is someone, usually someone very close to you, whispering something that is the complete opposite in your ear trying to get you to see things their way or giving you other options. That's the trick of the enemy!! He "hitches a ride" with whomever he can to get into your mind. What better way than to use someone that is close to you or in authority over you and you value their opinion? He wants to see you fail. He knows that we are in the midst of this storm and God is preparing to bring us out and he is trying cause us to stumble and not get the blessing that awaits us. Man, there was so much to this message I wish I had time to share it all! I am still filled behind it because I got the most wonderful revelation regarding Sincere's case behind it. I know it was God! And behold, as soon as I got out of service I shared the sermon with others and they gave me confirmation! I didn't even give them my revelation. It seems that they read my mind. I am trusting God wholeheartedly!! I believe that he is going to bring Sincere out and I am not wavering from that.

I have been having a couple of really bad months and really was worried about what was going to happen to us. I know your prayers are keeping me sane and on the right path that would be so easy to fall off of when troubles start to pile up. Good morning to all my christian sisters. I come to you today because if i cannot be with my husband today, then i will be with my christian sisters. solano is still on lockdown and they are not allowing visits for mikes side this weekend so on our first anniversary, i am here with my kids with mike heavy on my mind. All i can say with certainty is that the lord brought us to this point in our lives as part of his will for us both and i must have faith in our heavenly father and bend to his will for us. He is an awesome god and a wonderful father to us all and i am grateful for the blessings he continues to bestow on myself and that of my family.

Please know that i pray for each of you daily and i thank you all for all the blessings that you have each given to me. You are all wonderful.

Hello, Ladies! I was finally able to go visit Rip this weekend. It was awesome to be able to touch him and look into his eyes as we talked. And, of course, it was terrible leaving when the two hours were up (though it didn't seem like 2 hours!!!!) My pastor's wife went with me, and then when we got there, they said her name wasn't on the list and she couldn't go in, but she was available outside when God used her to minister to a hurting family, so praise His name forever and ever!. Continue to pray for Rip. No parole answer yet. His health is deteriorating (he is 53 and several health issues). The conditions there are beyond horrific, but he is trying to hold on. Pray for his protection and for God to lift him up and encourage him while he waits.

Father, I want to pray tonight for all these sisters- hear their cries, O Father God, and give them peace in resting on your promises. Father, for Ginger, I pray comfort and wisdom. Father, bind the enemy from a foothold in that family. May she be a witness for You Father, and your Kingdom. Father, for Chantelle, I also pray comfort and blessings. Hold her up Father, give her strength, walk daily with her that she may never feel alone. For Caroline, Deidra and Jaunita I pray your special blessings and answers to their prayers. Hello Ladies,

God has been good to me lately. I cannot complain. The only thing that's been going on is I've been missing Jason a lot. It's just one of those days, ya know? We all have the good days and the bad. For some reason today has just been one of the bad. No reason in particular, I just miss him. I'm waiting to hear his voice for the first time in a while on the phone tonight. He is supposed to get his phone priviledges back after that DR in Feb. He said he thought it should have come back on Sat. morning, but it never did. I waited around all day yesterday to see if they were mistaken and he'd be able to call yesterday. No call yesterday. Tonight, I shall play the waiting game once more and see if he can call. If not, I'll know tonight that somthing is wrong with his phone and I must call those people out at the prison again. I really don't like calling there and battleing with them, but for him, I do it. I hope I don't have to. Send up some prayers that his phone will work and he'll be able to call me tonight.

I"ve been trying to plan a trip to see his mom and his daughter here soon. They're my family and I love them dearly. I can't wait to see them! It looks like the trip is a for sure thing. My next visit with Jason is planned for July 4th! The days can go by fast enough :-) . I hope all of you ladies are having a wonderful week. I"m sure later on this week I'll be letting you all know that my crazy "missing him" moment has passed. It always does. Granted, I always miss him, but you all know what I mean.

Frontlinelady...I'm in agreeance!! I can't wait to hear your praise report when the time finally comes. I will lift you up in prayer as I do all my other ladies on PTO. All things are possible when you have the Lord on your side!

OH, I got to talk to jason for the first time since Feb. (other than our visit) last night!!! I was so excited. I kept telling him to call back b/c the 15 min. limit kept coming entirely too fast. I'm so happy I got to hear his voice and talk to him. I had such a blessed day yesterday. After I posted my last post I was feeling down, to hear Jason's voice only brought me back up and helped me remember why I'm going through this battle.

Jason needs to declare bankruptcy soon, ladies. I am asking that you all pray that we can find a lawyer who is willing to file bankruptcy while he is still on the inside. That would help us temendously and help to eliviate any concerns of financial hardships when he is released. Please pray that we will find favor with me and a lawyer that is willing to help us without breaking our bank accounts in the process!

I am not having a good day. Today is the first day in a while that I've had pain in my lower pelvic area, due to the cyst on my ovary. I have been praying that I wouldn't be in pain and would be able to wait until after getting married to have my surgery. Please keep me in prayer. (Thank you all.)

Quick update - the Chaplain emailed me to say he did get Chris' birth certificate after all & as soon as he had the minister's credentials - he'd give me a ceremony date! I thought Rev. Phran was faxing him yesterday. So I emailed her and just asked her to send or resend them asap! I'll let you all know when I hear something else!

I am very thankful for this thread. I am one that truly believes in prayer. My husband is not suppose to get out until 2012, but i know a God that can do all things. He has the last say so. It is through him we are justified. I am praying daily for our loved ones to come home to us. But to come home renewed. Being better men and women. Knowing that God has his hands in all things. Ladies, before I go to bed - I just wanted to make a request. Reading so much of these threads can really wear your heart down. I feel very badly for so many relationships that do not work out. I know at times it may be for the best and may even be a "blessing in disguise" when a guy doesn't come home as he promised - but I just want to say let's remember ALL the people on this site, no matter their situation. If God sees that it's best for them not to end up with the person they feel they love - please pray that they find peace and strength to go on with their life. Morning Ladies! I pray that all is well. I must extend my thanks to my Father in Heaven for another wonderful morning. I am sitting here answering letters to Sincere and decided to take a break and say hello to my sisters. I am so happy to hear of all the upcoming hearings. Yes, it seems that June will be a busy month for us all. I am in agreeance that God will rain down blessings in the month of June/July. God is more than capable of seeing us through all of this.

Lord I come humbly thanking you for just being God. Thank you for looking down on us and recognizing that we can't go on this journey without you. For reaching your hand of protection down and holding us and protecting us from all hurt, harm, and danger. Lord we come right now lifting up the many who will go before judges, parole boards, and other release hearings. Father we stand in agreeance that you will set the captives free.
