Lord, I come to your throne of grace and mercy thanking you for this day which you have made. Lord, you woke me up this morning and saw fit to bless me with the activity of my limbs, all my senses, good health, a good job, a beautiful home and Lord I just say thank you. I thank you for the circle of my family being unbroken. You are truly worthy of all praise. Heavenly Father today I have steadfastly focused on fasting and I pray the corporate fast of our church will be pleasing unto you. As we dine tonight, let it be for our physical nourishment and not in abundance. I thank you for your presence and protection in my life. Thank you Lord! I have been thinking about how hard we are all being tested right now anyone interested in a fast? i am thinking this Sunday (Feb 25) 1201 am Sunday morning until 1200 Sunday night i am going to have a water only fast. To dedicate the day to scripture, prayer and our Lord. Anyone and everyone is welcomed to join me. I just have to fight the advisary and pray for understanding and wisdom during this trial we all seem to be going through. think about it i will be back on later tonight to pray

I'm spiritual in every way but I'm one that don't know quite how to pray. I mean, I know how to pray but don't know what to say. The words come out wrong and I sound silly to myself. The prayers above seem so genuine and I'm touched by them in every way. Don't sweat it. The beauty is that you do not sound silly to God. You know He has to have a sense of humor to deal w/ his creation.

God wants us to come to him as we are. There are times when I don't have time for formal prayers and I just yell out to him and say, God, I can't take it and I need you now.

When you pray, talk to him like you would a friend, parent, etc. Also, try keeping a prayer journal. I use this and write out my prayer. I don't worry about grammar, punctuation, etc. This journal has kept me on point w/ prayer and I actually enjoy doing this and it's helped me w/ my interaction w/ God.

Girl, don't worry about it. Just go to him as you are.

I am stadning on your word where you said that you would take the foolish things to confound the wise and Lord, I am asking you honor your above word in the lives of your children. Jesus, i come here asking you to protect us Lord. Fill our hands with stones that we can fight the advisary with. Lord he attacks us so hard because he knows we are faithful to you Lord. Heavenly Father I come now thanking you for this day which you have made. As I begin another day of fasting and praying I ask that the breakfast I have had will give me nourishment for my day. Lord, I hope that my efforts are pleasing onto you and that during this fast you will walk with me and allow me to grow spiritually. Lord, I come praying for every sister in our circle. It seems the advisary wants to take our joy and wants us to struggle and be unhappy. But, Lord we know that we are so blessed and that our joy is in your and our hope is in you. Walk with us restoring our strength, our hope, our joy, our peace, our happiness, our motivation, our dedication, our focus and our belief that all things are possible through you. Heavenly Father- I want to pray a prayer of praise to you, oh Lord. So many times I come with a "wish list" of sorts. I have done that more so lately than I ever have. I have forgotten to stop and say praise you Father God as my blessings are rolling in. You are the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end. I Love you Lord from the depths of my soul. Ladies, it's already begun to be an interesting day for me. It all started yesterday evening. And, Praise God, my income tax check that we so desperately needed came in 2 days early. Thank you for all of your prayers and uplifting words. I am not very close with my family and it feels so good to be able to draw near to you as I am also able to draw nearer to GOD. We just have to seek him and the word says that he will not hide his face from us. Joel Osteen teaches to 'expect God's favor' and I do expect God to show up and show out in my life.

Sister I am praying with you and for you and believing that God is moving in the midst of the storms we all seem to be experiencing in our lives. We must be anxious for NOTHING and stand firmly in the belief that in God's time all things will come to pass.

Also, I know how it is to not want to worry our loved one and sometimes that fine. Sometimes it's just gotta be us and God. And then sometimes I need my guy to pray me through cuz I'm just not doing it. sometimes I just tell him don't worry, but I need to pray for me sweetie cuz I have some things before God and he says okay.

Hello to everyone...I am sorry i have not posted lately, i am soooo busy trying to get ready to make my journey from california to mississippi with michaels daughter and her children. I am on my 5th day of a ten day stretch....but i have thought of you and this prayer circle daily.

Lord,
Thank you for this wonderful prayer circle that deidra began and that all the wonderful women here keep going everyday. Lord thank you for another morning and another day for me to wake up and enjoy on this earth. Lord i ask that you watch over myself and michaels children during our long cross country journey, it will not be easy but with you in the car with us... we will have a wonderful trip. Lord, i ask that you be with Patrik as he begins his training with the airforce for his time in Iraq. Keep him safe and bring him home to us after he has served his tour. Lord, be with me today as i travel to jackson for a directors meeting and give me the insight to be a better supervisor and help me be beneficial to all of my employees. Lord, keep michael safe and have grace upon those who will finalize his future and let them see all the changes he has made and allow him to come home to his family where he truly is needed. Dear lord thank you so much for deidra and her wonderful and powerful prayers to you for all of us here. She is a true christian sister. Please give her faith and comfort as she faces all of her obstacles today and everyday. Dear lord bless my sweet seven year old son, who has been diagnosed with adhd and lay your healing powers upon him and take this away from him so he can be a healthy and happy 1st grader. I know your power to heal is real and i ask that you touch him and help him to get past all of this. Dear lord please be with all of my children... These last few months have been very trying for all of us and they need your love and comfort to get them through these days ahead.

Hello lovely ladies. I get to daily read the posts from the day before in my emal at work, as I don't get to go on PTO at work, and usually in the evenings lately i have been so tired. So, I keep meaning to get on and say a prayer with you all, but I don't. Thanks to God's grace, I am here now, and I have been well pleased with all the posts and prayers I have been able to partake of lately. God is truly blessing us to share in one another's ups and downs, and I encourage you all to be encouraged. I will include you in my prayers, even though I'm not going to type one out here.

for all that view and for the ones on here that are not sure how to pray--i feel the same as you. But i do know that God hears us and knows each and every one of us better than we know ourselves so just say what is in you heart. There is lots of material in Walmart that can help you also. I picked up a few books that really has helped me. One of the books have one minute praises in it. Here is one that I really read alot here lately...

Dear Lord, thank You for the apostle Paul's loving reminder that even in the midst of sorrow, I can continue to rejoice. Even when life is hard, I can know a deep inner joy... all because of the spiritual blessings You've given to me, which an never be taken away.

Father God in the name of Jesus, I come to you thanking you first and foremost for another day. Thank you for waking us up this morning and allowing us to open our eyes to a day never to be seen again. Lord you are truly awesome.
