Lord i come here on my knees (literally) praying to you to guide my finders and asking you to make this prayer come to and thorugh me and make it from you. Lord Deidra and Harold need you desperately right now Lord. Please send the Holy Spirit to them so that they may hear your words Lord. You are the Light, the Truth and the Way. You are our salvation Lord. We need you to guide us and fill us and take this pain and fear away Lord. Lord, i am a child at Your feet at Your throne asking for You to be with my sisters in Christ. God, i know that you hear every prayer. You are almighty and beautiful. Please let your beauty rain down on us. Overwhelm us with peace and sanctity to assure us that YOU have the last word on EVERYTHING that comes before us Lord. Dear Jesus, please bring Harold and Chuck to a safer, better unit Lord. Please protect our loved ones from the C/Os that do not know you or have strayed from you Lord. Please God, be at the tip of the tongue and engulf all the hearts of everyone that has day to day contact with our significant others that You sent to us Lord. Protect us. Hi Charles wife, I feel his love in this circle of fellow believers.
I think fasting this Sunday 1/14/07 is a good devotion. I would like prayer to be able to fast this Sunday too.

In Jesus name I rebuke that smoking habit that distracts us from truely worshipping him with all our heart. Put him 1st and just ask him for help to quit!

I want to report my status at work, it was getting to be very stressful(going on 3 yrs), I have been hideing the fact that my husband is in prison because I don't care for all the gosiping that goes with sharing my problems at work. I have such a hard time as it is expressing myself. I only share my problem with a few close friends.
Someone has taken it upon themselves to start a weekly bible study at work during lunch and I am now able to share my hopes and dreams with other God fearing believers! I know that this is an answered prayer. How great is God. He is good.

I want to remember all the persons who are away from home, loveones and family, God bring them to their knees. Let them know somebody is praying for them.

Deidra100---Thank you for checking in. Its funny how we get lost in ourselves and seem to forget the others. "For me anyway" I know that we are just passing through until we are brought home, but life on Earth is so overwhelming sometimes. As I'm sure you are quite aware of. I hope that all of you are well. I hope that you get your visit Deidra. I know how much that means. I have always believed in the good Lord above. But here lately I don't feel as if I'm worthy. I know that I'm still sinning. I will not go into detail but I'm trying really hard to get my life together so that I may go to Heaven. And not to mention that it scares me with this weather. I'm mean 60's and 70's during winter????? Whew. Anyway, ladies I need your prayers tonight (well nightly) my step mother of 27 years was diagnosed with emphysema, a collapsed lung, tumor on the adrenal gland, and more than likely lung cancer. I have to take her out of town on Wednesday the 17th. I know I'm being selfish but he cant take her right now. She is not done. She has been there for 7 kids 5 us of which are not hers. All of the grand kids. She teaches us not to be judge-mental, to love everyone, that all of the people that you attempt to judge are going through things that we could never imagine. She is my angel sent from GOD. She has helped me to pull through so much. I know that GOD is my strength. But she is my angel. So please pray for her. I need her to pull through this. She has changed so many people and has the ability to affect so many more. She is a beautiful lady. Also I need prayer for my children and myself. They miss their daddy so much. And both are acting out fighting all the time. And both are having a hard time with others socially. And as for myself I feel as if I do nothing but yell all the time. And I have been way to critical of them. I just get so aggravated with everything going on. And I know that my problems are GODS way of making me stronger which is working but at the same time I feel as if I'm breaking. I also want so badly to dream of my "baby". And I have a few times. Him holding me is so surreal. But lately I have been having nightmares. Like when he is home doing awful things. Being distant, and mean. Maybe my insecurities. But I want to have pleasant dreams of him and our family when he is finally home. Thank YOU dear GOD that he is coming home. Thank YOU for our family. Thank YOU for the strength and courage that you have provided for us. Thank YOU for watching over me and giving me each and every day before we come home to you. Thank YOU for keeping my daughter in remission from cancer. Good Saturday to all!! I have to start by saying Amen to all the many prayers posted and God is truly worthy to be praised!!! I had to shout when I saw how God answered Deidra's prayers!! I am so overwhelmed with joy right now. I truly know the power of prayer and how God has the final say. I am also dedicating my Sunday to fasting and prayer! Water only! 24hrs!! God is worth it. Let us remember to pray for our personal situations during the fast as well as the situations of our sisters on this thread. Let us pray:

Gracious and kind Father, we come before you with bowed heads and humbled hearts thanking you for another day. Thank you for granting us permission to awaken this morning when we didn't deserve to see another day. You touched us with your finger of love and allowed our eyes to open, our lungs to breathe, and our hearts to beat. We love you Lord. We can't make it without you and without you we are nothing. We come asking for a safe and blessed visit for Deidra and Harold. I pray that his spirits as well as her spirits be lifted by the presence of one another. It is truly your hand that blessed this union and I pray that you continue to bless them. Lord we come praying for all those on our prayer list. THE VISIT WAS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD AND I DIN'T WANT TO LEAVE. NOW I DIDN'T SLEEP LAST NIGHT AND NEITHER DID HE FOR THE ANTICIAPATION OF SEEING EACH OTHER WAS SO HIGH. I HAVE NOT SAW HIM IN A MONTH AND BOTH OF US WERE GOING THROUGH IT. I TOLD HIM ABOUT OUR PRAYER CIRCLE AND HE TOLD ME TO TELL EVERYBODY HELLO AND THANKS. HE WAS A LITTLE CONFUSED. HE ASKED HAVE WE MEET AND I TOLD HIM NO BUT, IT'S WOMEN FROM EVERYWHERE COMING TOGETHER AND PRAYING. YALL IM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. YOU KNOW GOD HAS BLESSED ME BY SENDING ME MY SOUL MATE. OUR ENTIRE VISIT WAS FULL OF JOY AND MOST OF ALL WE WERE ABLE TO LAUGH AT THE THINGS THAT WOULD HAVE MADE US CRY. I REASSURED HIM THAT TIME IS NOT CHASING ME AWAY BECAUSE WHEN A PERSON IS LOCKED UP THEN THE OTHERS TEND TO FEED NEGATIVE THINGS TO THEM. MY HUSBAND HAS MY HEART AND I LOVE HIM. IMA TELL YALL THIS STORY AND ITS TRUE. I GO VISIT AT THE NURSING HOME. BUT, I VIST THIS OLDER COUPLE WHICH HAS BEEN MARRIED FOR YEARS. I TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT IS US IN THE FUTURE BECAUSE THAT LADY STILL FOLLOW HIM AROUND. HER MIND IS GOING BUT, ONE THING SHE NEVER FORGETS AND THAT HE IS HER HUSBAND. BUTM THANK YALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND MOST OF ALL THANK GOD FOR GRANTING MY REQUEST. GOD IS WORKING AND BELIEVE ME YALL THE BLESSINGS ARE COMING. GOD SENDS YOU SIGNS JUST LIKE CAROLINE WITH THE RAINBOWS. WELL, I HAVE BEEN SEEING ONES EVERY WHERE. THE CLOCK IS EITHER 1:11 OR 11:11 EVERYTIME I WAKE UP OR LOOK AT THE CLOCK. NOW YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT ALL YET. MY HUSBAND WAS MOVED TO A UNIT ON 1-11 AND THE CELL ASSIGNED WAS 1-11. THAT'S NOT IT, WHEN HE MADE IT BACK TO HIS UNIT. I CHECKED IN TO VISIT AND SHE GAVE ME THE SLIP. WHICH HAD HIS CELL 1-11. YALL GOD IS BRINGING HAROLD HOME GOD JUST HAD SOME FINISHING UP WITH HIM ON THINGS HE NEEDED DONE BEFORE. WHILE MY HUSBAND WAS IN HUNTSVILLE CHECK THIS OUT. THEY PUT A X ON HIS CLOTHES WHICH MEANT RELEASE. MY HUSBAND WAS ASKED BY SEVERAL GUYS ARE U LEAVING? MY HUSBAND LIKE NO I JUST RECIEVED A SET OFF. AND, IT WAS A MISTAKE BUT, THIS GUY THAT'S A CHRISTIAN SPOKE ANS SAID, "THAT X WAS FOR YOU AND ITS COMING". JUST TO SHOW YOU HOW GOD WORKS! GOD IS TRULY AMAZING. O.K. ENOUGH ABOUT ME! I HOPE EVERYBODY HAD A SAFE TRIP AND JUANITA YOU JUST KEEP IT UP. I LOVE WHEN YALL PRAY AND MOST OF ALL IM GLAD THAT WE ARE SISTERS. Hitulily~ as we travel down these walks of the unknown the advisary always tries to pull us off our squares. the advisary loves to eat the seeds Christ has planted. But with prayers and words spoken being the water on the seed it will grow in His name and no one elses'. It says in the Bible (John) that once someone is saved in Jesus name they can never be removed from the palm of his hand. Thank you God. He is with us everyday.

deidra Im so glad that you got your visit. What a wonderful present and gift from above. Your posts are so uplifting. GOD has you hear for a reason and it didnt take me long to see it. Thank you for all of the prayers. And thank you for the prayers to keep my little girl in remission. GOD has worked so hard for us, and I am trying to work hard for him. Thanks to all for praying for my stepmom, family, and myself. You all are in my prayers. Only 4 days to know exactly what is going on with my stepmom "of 27 years". I know that Heaven is a wonderful place and so much better for her than her temporary home, but I truly believe that she is not finished doing GODS work. So please keep her in your prayers. And please, please say a prayer that she have the strength to stop smoking. Its literally killing her but she cant seem to endure the withdrawls. And please pray for her so that she knows just how much she is loved and cherished. Thank You all. And most of all I thank GOD. He has give me so many gifts. He has pulled me through so many trials giving me the strength and preparing me for all that has yet to come until we are home with him. I'm back. It's been a crazy week. I pray that everyone is safe in there travels this weekend. I thank God for getting me home safe today from visiting Tom. The weather in Texas today is awful. We should know in 6-8 weeks whether he gets parole or not. God has the plan for our lives. I'm so blessed to have found this site for support. God bless all of you. Goodnight!

I too had a great visit today! We see each other just about every weekend, but today was special. He looked wonderful! Our conversation was wonderful! Our eye contact was piercing! It's almost like he looks in my eyes with such intensity it just melts my heart.

Heavenly Father, we just thank and praise you tonight for the glory of this day! Thank you for the blessing of wonderful visits and victory! You said we have not because we ask not and truly we asked and you saw fit to bless us with the desire of our heart. Thank you for your mercy and your goodness!! Lord while we rejoice in today, we know that our Sister Melissa has a heavy heart as she deals with various family issues. Give her peace with whatever your will is and give her strength to walk you have laid before her. Lord we ask that you strengthen her family and be with her stepmom. Thank you for being in the midst of our prayer circle. Thank you for every prayer that is lifted up to you and for every person that views this thread. AMEN ALL!!! Deidra & Optimistic, I am so happy you had such a wonderful visit. It is good to know I am not the only one. I hadn't seen my Sincere in a week. I normally go about every 4-5 days or so, but I made him wait a whole week. He was soooooo happy to see me, but he was trying to act like he was upset. He was only pretending. We had an excellent visit. I stayed with him for about 6 1/2 hours. I plan on going back maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. We have 7 visits a month so we try to space them out. God is so good. I am so overwhelmed with joy right now it is ridiculuous. I have to praise God!! Let us pray:

Father God as we enter into this day of fasting and praying, it is our prayer that you will open our hearts and minds that we may hear a word from you. Lord no matter what goes on around us today, we have chosen this day to dedicate our bodies and minds solely to you. Be with us as temptation rears it head that we may not stumble and fall from the path you have set. Lord allow those of us that may be giving up cigarettes, alcohol, food, various drinks, or anything we have grown so accustomed to partaking in on a day to day basis, to have the will power to give it up in order to be receptive to you. Father God I also come praising your name for the wonderful blessing you have bestowed on us all. For the wonderful visits you have given to Deidra, Optimistic, and myself, I truly thank you. I pray for all my sisters that were sent as angels to me by you. Thank you for their presence in my life. Dear Heavenly Father, I sit here before you at this magnificent machine that you gave some soul the brilliant idea to create. I sit in the darkness outside that you created but sit inside my house that you gave some other souls the knowledge to construct. Inside this home I sit in the light that was brainstormed by another soul that you created. I drink my coffee that comes from the coffee beans that were harvested somewhere in this world that we were born into. I wait for the darkness to turn to daylight as you promised in the 7 days whe you said, "Let there be light." Dear God, all we have to do is open our eyes to see all of the miracles that you have shown us that you are our creator. Some haven't come to the point in their life yet God to accept that there is a God. I say, "How can you not see that there is a God, a loving God who has placed our souls with a shell to cover it on this earth and breathed life into us that we may praise you and honor you and do your will. God, I come here today to ask not what you will do for me today but what I may do for you? Is there a soul that has lost its way that you could send my way so that you may speak words through my mouth to bring them back home to you? Is there a soul that stranded in the cold that I could offer some warmth? Is there a soul that is hospitalized who needs a prayer so they may be healed? Is there a soul in prison who needs to be loved because they have been abandoned? God, whatever it is that you choose for me to do today I ask that you open my ears and eyes and give me awareness to find the purpose that I am here to honor you. Guide me in the direction that you want me to go, use me as your vessel, make me your peacemaker, mold me and shape me in your image. God, I thank you for all the souls that you have gathered together on the thread to comfort each other and strengthen others on this path. Give us positive energy to take to others who are suffering some negative energy. God, you have placed my man on higher ground and I pray that you do the same for these other ladies husbands with a transfer to a prison closer to home, with better programs, kinder officers, one step closer to having those gates open up for their return to freedom and to their families who need them. I question why my man is there and I am here when you created woman to be with man. The only answer that I keep hearing is that you need him there right now to do your work. I am accepting of that God. I pray that he accomplishes the mission that you have given him and that we can be together as soon as his work is done in there. Give us patience because I know that your time is not the same as ours. I come to you again God asking that you bring my friend in GA out of the dark and send in some angels to help with her financial situation, her man in the hole, and her physical condition. Heal her and strengthen her and her family. Continue to bring my friend Leisa in MI one step closer to her mans parole. I ask that you take my friends brother Arnie out of harms way of the mistreatment that he is receiving in Jackson. My friend Yolanda has been waiting patiently for her man to parole after many years too, God. God, I know that you won't keep them one minute longer than necessary. Plant the seed that they need to find their path or their spiritual purpose. I ask all of this in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen
