Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

my boyfriend is currently at MCI-J and will be transferring any day to either sykesville or brockbridge. Are they good facilities? Anything, quite honestly, has to be better than where he is now!!! I saw you were in MA, i was just wondering if you visited him and what you or he had to say about facilities.

My man was at Brockbridge and had absolutely nothing good to say about the place, was only housed there for 2 months years ago.

MCI-J actually is considered one of the better medium security prisons, depending on what side you are housed on. The East side's conditions are alot better than the West Side's, where the parole retakes are. As far as visiting goes, I found that MCI-J's visiting conditions very decent for a medium facility, much better than visiting at ECI.

MCI-J, overall, hasn't been too bad but my boyfriend was in segregration for the first 5 1/2 months so that was really hard on both of us. Since he's not in seg its been a lot better. Now that all of his cases are disposed I just want him to hurry up and go somewhere so he can get more settled than he's been. I'm just glad he's not going to ECI or out to Hagerstown or Cumberland bc then I'd never see him. Now I see him at least once a week and I'd like to continue that. It seems to keep him sane and he needs all he can get!!!
